I had 1 reject in 3 days, then yesterday suddenly 5 within 18 minutes (all on "eustratum"). Still the best rate I've ever had.

A network reconnect is usually the cause of a bunch of rejects (your IP address changes on DHCP, your connection has a short outage or even if the OzCoin server ever restarts)

Otherwise, the rare lost shares are either if you have variable difficulty and you manage to cross a boundary that switches your difficulty (quite rare) or you happen to be sending a share just at the same time the server sends an LP - also quite rare, but more common the higher your network transfer latency is.

Although I have mentioned that the problems with stratum are fixable, they are, also, relatively negligible

The lost shares are next to nothing compared to GetWork and even GBT

The only real problem at the moment is if you have a very bad network connection and keep losing your Stratum connection.

I just noticed that CGMiner was saying shares were accepted, but my widget was saying all my workers were offline.

Thanks for the update!

BTC shares are now being counted.  Thanks for hanging in through this.

All shares mined during this non-counting period ARE being counted.

Hashrate on ecoinpool is starting to drop off as miners move to stratum and VarDiff
In 3-4 Hours I will be moving the us.ozco.in mining dns to us1.ozco.in
We will then have a stratum and an ecoinpool node in US, EU and AU
The worker page on site is always updated with latest mining URLs
This is the first step in restructuring our setup to reduce costs.
More work will be done over the next month, most if not all migration we should be able to do without affecting users or mining.
Further updates to follow
Cheers

Somewhere there is a DNS resolve issue for all of ozcoin.  The servers themselves are OK

Ahh ok.  Didn't mean to confuse anyone.  What I meant by that was, that if your miners are connected, they should stay happily mining.

Any chance you can provide us IP addresses to use temporarily until DNS issue is resolved?
