This is the most lengthy thread I have ever read since I joined Bitcointalk. You have done justice by analyzing the two most popular religious believe. I personally will not belong to any of those religion if it was only through just reading or listening to the religious leaders teach. I am a Christian, I stick to being a Christian because of my personal enchanters I have with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I have received healing severally without taking any drugs. The holy spirit guides me by showing me visions of what will happen in the future and they all come to pass.

So, fill yourself on the Bible. It's the only accurate source for Christianity. See you in Heaven.

In your Christian mythology, what is God made of, what are his powers, and where does he live?

Can he make a stone that he could not lift?

I agree entirely with the statement in af_newbie's signature space. Religion is an ancient mechanism of social control, nothing more. It's an anachronism. It helped to keep tribal groups together and also provided an invisible all-seeing presence who would punish any bad behaviour. Nowadays the role played by religion is fulfilled by other things, police, army, government, surveillance cameras, etc.

Am skipping the rest questions so I can answer this. Like this, answers to the rest questions will also be what you will dispute. Every creator has a right to decide what they want to do with their creature, whether animate or inanimate. A car manufacturer, a goldsmith, a builder, a programmer are creators and are not different from God on that level. They have their different desires fir creating whatever they create. You have to understand that the only reason God created man was for His pleasure. So he can do with man the way it pleases Him like the creators of the objects I listed above.

I had a post deleted there so this is not a repost but just to make it clear. I don't hate or even dislike atheists or anyone for that matter. Its's your actions that define you as a person. There are plenty of so called Christians, Muslims, Jews et al who don't practice what they preach and plenty of atheists who practice better what the former preach.

The lie about Jesus resurrection is in accordance with many other, including the one saying that Jesus was a descendant from David born in Bethlehem, when everything in the Bible points out to Nazareth.

There is no record of any census around the year 0 to force them to travel with Mary about to give birth.

The killing of the babies by Herod is ridiculous. The Romans wouldn’t ever allow that.

In fact, something as outraged as this would leave traces on historical records, including Jewish records. They would be the victims.

All of these lies were invented solely to make Jesus fit the ancient prophecies about the messiah.

The religious flatearthers denying evolution are implying that god created all the SARS 2 variants when he created the world.

They just kept quiet for six thousand years and then, in two years, started popping up like popcorn.

Remember, there are dozens of variants, with tiny mutations. We just read about the concerning ones.

But the real point is, machines have makers. We don't have one strand of evidence that there is anything that came into existence spontaneously, without having been made. And we know of countless things that have makers.

The complexity of the universe shows that whatever could make it, fits our understanding of what God would be. God made it all.

What seems to be the current best speculative attempt to explain the Universe's creation says that it was created by Quantum Fields, fields of energy which create particles by interacting between each other.

It's mainly a theoretical framework, as this is far from being empirical verified.

Creation isn't magic. Rather, it's a miracle.

From the best ancient history records, the earth is about 7,500 years old in our current age. Even second best records show that our current age is probably less than 10,000 years old, but couldn't be more than 25,000 years old. All told, no human knows how old the universe really is.

If you are talking about standard Evolution Theory (ET) type of evolution, ET absolutely destroys evolution, and this whole evolution idea is simply a trick being played on the minds of evolutionists. For you, I will say the reason again. Here it is:

Study Cause and Effect (C&E). Everything operates by C&E. There is nothing that happens without being caused. There is no truly spontaneous action that ever happens. At least, we haven't found any. In fact, a truly spontaneous action doesn't even fit how the physics of the universe works.

Because of this, random mutations in ET are not spontaneous happenings. Rather, random simply means that we don't know the mutations that make evolutionary changes. Since we don't know which or what mutations, how do we know that evolution exists at all? We don't! It's all guesswork.

People who absolutely believe that evolution exists something like ET states, have a religion-like idea going for themselves, because random in ET says that we don't know.

Yep. Stuff you are talking about isn't science. Rather, it is science fiction, some of which might accidentally happen to be true once in a while. But you don't know it.

It is much easier to do so if you promise a price for good behaviour and what is better than eternal life in a paradise, heaven or whatever you choose.

There is no obvious reason either to think that there is nothing out there, whatever shape may it take, that has some connection with eternity or our creation. A mistake that many people make is, they live thinking that they don't have any religion. EVERYBODY has religion! People who say that they don't have religion, simply have a religion of no-religion.

The important thing is to find the religion that is correct. Everybody dies, even the no-religion people. What this means is that eternal life is not part of this life.

If anybody wants eternal life, he has to find the right religion. Why? Because EVERYBODY has religion in some form... even if it is simply a religion of no-religion. Find the right religion, and live forever in a new life.
