It'd be nice to see some sociological/linguistic discussion of religion and atheism, but in it's absence, let me just say not very interesting discussion.

It was a slow process, but piece by piece the Catholic storyline stopped making sense.  Reading Bible accelerated my loss of faith.

Exactly. I don't disagree with you at all.

Many who believe in God does not do so because they believe in talking snakes and stoning people stories, but because they had a strong spiritual and mystical experience that science fails to answer.

You forgot to be a critic after you turned 12, you found a doctrine that was convincing enough, I recognize there's some truth in science however there's no proof to convince me that God doesn't exist, there's no proof about the creation of the earth point of view from science, there's no proof of evolution, you then forgot to analyze and examine the evidence of the veracity of the bible, it's everywhere, geological proof, historical proof, the miracles that are in video, then this proof doesn't matter, you became such a critic that became selective about what proof to believe in.

You won't have issues finding them on Youtube, there are plenty. You may call it metaphorical stories, however you need to recognize that civilizations that in the bible were prophesied to disappear disappeared (Godless nations), everything prophesied occurred right as stated, there's micro evolution don't get it wrong (small changes ONLY), in regards to the type of evolution you talk about, please list the scientific proof you have and I will refute it. I'm not rejecting the fact all science comes from God, and trust me I'm not doing this from anger, I just don't tap dance around the truth. We are debating truth, aren't we? You may find some things in the Bible as cruel, like God killing people and so on, however remember if you lend me money I have to pay back, you have the right to collect the money from me, if God is the life giver he can also take it away. His thoughts are deeper than our thoughts, if his thoughts weren't deeper then he wouldn't be God, who can create a world so detailed so perfect with a knowledge that can be understood by everyone?

Can you explain how a Russian little girl can speak English perfectly, with no accent without ever studying the language? It takes years to learn a language and to speak it perfectly may never be attained. This little girl is praising God in perfect English, you can find it on youtube, it was documented.  She woke up and was speaking English.

Some areas of science are trying to find the human spirit and soul. We have very little to go on regarding ways to "grasp" it. Once we get a better hold of it, then we just might start getting a hold on the Holy Spirit.

An atheist might only be a person who is unaware of his knowledge of the existence of God. But the more he fights God by being a self-proclaimed atheist, the more he is a liar.
