God is the one who produces proof. The universe is the proof of His existence. If you won't believe the universe proof, you wouldn't believe a selfie or ATM card and PIN.

It works only if you believe that the universe was made by your god.
It all depends on the definition of a god.

Some facts to consider, even if we assume the universe was made by a god.

It was a 13 billion years ago and that being ceased to exist.
The universe was made by this being , but then evolved by itself, which doesn't make you his intentional creation. He created matter and billions of years later some part of this matter made your neanderthal ancestor. In such case should you really be praying to a god that probably doesn't even know he made you and doesn't care. Just like you don't care what bacteria will grow on the shit you flushed yesterday.

The strongest a person can do against believing that the universe was made by God, is to believe that he doesn't know how it was made.

Machine universe proves a maker. Combining complexity, cause-and-effect, and entropy, proves the maker was intelligent like a God would have to be. The order in the universe, and the great size of it proves that the maker was at least acting as ONE.

There is no proof for a multi-billion year old universe. Fun story, though.

So we did not come from Neanderthals... There was no homo habilis and homo erectus and this god made us the way we are now. It's all a myth. All those skeletons found, the dna sequence that's very similar to the one of modern monkeys. God created Adam and Eve and they kept fucking their children until there was a whole town of them inbreds.

I'm not a religion believer of any kind. I don't believe in bedtime stories about some guy being born of a virgin, who had a husband, who believed her when she told him that god came down and put a child into her belly.

Way back at the beginnings of ancient prehistory, the name/term Baal referred to the Creator of the universe.

Gradually over time, because people had different ideas about what the Creator was like, the name/term became associated with many different gods.

Whether God exist or not, i think its good to have someone to count on beside the scientific prove of his existence. It's psychologically helpful so i think why not believing in God? Except you have mastering yourself and your mind, i think you don't need a specific role like God to rely on. I think God, religions, etc are just a mindset. This is why prayers often works. You pray, you believe, you're a bit optimistic of that, and your mind-that mindset will make you prayers come true (of course, not all) just like the placebo effects.

imo- we human are always chasing perfection. But because we realize we are not perfect, we can't be- we make one. God is all about the good and wisdom only, someone to be our life role, last life destination, guidlines,... though i think we all now misinterpret it as someone powerful rather than the good itself

Ironically is, people can be so very fanatic about it. I think belief, or faith, or religions should be more like individual spiritual journey between you or whatever/whoever you believe though most of religions asked us to "share the good news and gain more worshiper". It's just sounds so... wrong...

By the way i think atheists nowdays can be fanatic too, claiming they know more, they've seen more, they are open minded. Just like modern edgy lifestyle.. (NOT ALL)

What is God? God is a Supreme Intelligence with Almighty Power. When you look at the great and wonderful way the universe works, there is no other way for it to exist than by God.

One of the greatest things about God is, He allows you to have what you ask for... outer ignorance of His existence. Yet, He maintains Himself in your inner mind so that you can't say that He just dropped you (after you come to understand that He exists, that is).

Stuff in the universe simply doesn't happen by accident. We have absolutely no example of such. In fact, our example is just the opposite. Machines have makers. The universe is a fantastic machine full of machines that follow the laws of physics precisely. The Maker of the universe is God.

Do something useful, go to the museum and examine the fossils.  Take Physics, Chemistry and Biology courses, learn everything there is about the history of nature.  Then move on to study Astrophysics.

Come back in new years and we can have a meaningful conversation on evolution, carbon dating, entropy, chaos, complexity, emergence or any other topics you fail so miserably to understand.
