if you add the command -tstop 50 It should stop the miner if your GPU reaches 50C but I think that would be a very low threshold
If you do this the miner will restart immediately (my guess). Any temperature >50 will cause a restart, and any operation in a GPU will cause a temperature >50 What Venum666 wants is a new parameter in claymore which will make miner restart if the temperature drops too low. This does not exist atm. What exactly is your problem Venum666? What is your scenario? If it is what I think it is, then parameter -minspeed will do the job you want (readme.txt)

I have a similar issue to this but I'm pretty sure mine is related to the USB risers not being solid... Is it always the same card that the miner loses? Do you get an error message or a reset in Claymore? Are you able to see all cards outside of claymore without restarting (this would mean it's not related to Claymore if you can't) I dont get any error message, it just disappears... but it's working fine with Zcash Miners...(EWFB) it's just the ETH Miner here

I cannot seem to find an answer for this
I want each of my rigs to appear as a worker on the Ethereum pool, now the Pool states after your etereum address put .<rig name>
for for example
-ewal 0xdc01a716e6fdf9d8ddba77971f4d5ffd3bd3c22b.1
when I do this I get an error message and disconnect from pool, so this is not working for me.
How can I distinguish each rig as a separate worker on the pool of which I cannot create workers to begin with
Use rigname with at least 2 chars and preferably max 8 chars. (probably smart to NOT use special chars as well, just use letters and numbers) rig01 rig02 etc... tried that to and still get error I get ETH: Authorization failed : {"id":2, "jsonrpc":"2.0","result":null,"error":{"code":-1,"message":"invalidlogin"}} Stratum - reading socket failed 10039, disconnect try different pool just to narrow down the possible reasons

Hy all! I am pretty new in mining so i have one question if anyone can help me I would be really happy So i have one question : Can i command somehow to my claymore's miner that it need to restart when temperature of all GPU falls in idk 50°C ?Is there any command where i can write this down and if is Can someone please explain me how and where to write it. Thanks a lot for any help!In Windows I'm using SpeedFan -> configure -> events -> create event for each card on T < 55 more than N sec to run a .bat file to restart. After create or update on events close Speedfan and run it again - otherwise, settings are not saved correctly.

Thanks a lot for any help!if you add the command -tstop 50 It should stop the miner if your GPU reaches 50C but I think that would be a very low threshold. you can also use the following commands - tt for target temperature, -ttdcr to reduce dual mining intensity, -ttli to limit entire mining intensity so for example you could have the below -tt 60 -ttdcr 65 -ttli 70 -tstop 75 Hope this helps Got a problem with this miner. I'm mining for some time (4x GTX1070 and 2x R9 280x). And after some time the miner "loses" one GTX 1070. How can I fix this?
It's only finding 5 cards then instead of 6.
Only reboot helps then.
Regards
I have a similar issue to this but I'm pretty sure mine is related to the USB risers not being solid... Is it always the same card that the miner loses? Do you get an error message or a reset in Claymore? Are you able to see all cards outside of claymore without restarting (this would mean it's not related to Claymore if you can't) Hm. To what should i add. I mean where do i add this line ? Which foder or file ? Dual minning i don't really understand that - please short explain if you can . And yes The problem is - it can mine 2 hours , half day, one day or only 20 mins than is some kind of freeze. Clayamore miner is running but Msi shows me that temperature is not right - It should be from 60 - 65 , and they are than like 50-55. So that's why i want to commad or tell that programs that simply restart when the gpu reach this temp. I think the problem is in Vram becouse i overclocked it to almost max so i can get as much Mh/s . The 3x GTX 1060 6GB gives me 72-73 mh/s. Second thing if maybe who knows 1. I am mining in my work , so we have same connection . Do you think they could get me becouse i mine with their electricity ? i know it's kinda mean but who cares , the profit is profit hehe . So the question is Can they see through internet connection that i am doing smthng ? Is mining like downloading files or it this totally different thing - Only using electricity? And guys thanks all for answers!

I'm getting currently 75 Mh/s from each rig of 3 RX 480... What hash rate can I get under 500 Watts through 3 RX 570/580 if I exchange my 480's with 570's by paying something extra (I've an offer for that)? Should I exchange? Will that provide me a big increase in hashing?

Not going for it, I thought these cards would be providing somewhat like 35 Mh/s. But if they're only providing 30 Mh/s, I'm just fine. Even my 480's can provide 30 hash if I overclock them. Thanks for quick replies guys.

But 30.5MH/s is acceptable.

Whats the power draw on 480/570/580 at those hash just for comparison. Per watt I dont think Vega is any advantage and considering its higher cost right now that would not be a upgrade so far as Ive been able to tell. The 570 deal mentioned is not worth doing I agree. I do consider all those cards roughly the same, you'd need to be buying up stock not swapping really for it to serve any purpose.
The nicest thing about Vega is the memory and sadly this advantage is capped even on the 64 unit, its not going far past 1100. if they ever bring out a sequel like the 580 was to the 480 and altered this memory aspect that could be a big deal. Its very possible they might, as vega is not considered very great competition to nvidia. The memory chip count reduced by half from fury over to vega, otherwise we'd be seeing maybe over 50% gains to 60mh . This is not the case currently, not easily anyway.
Can anyone list the other miners they have tried with Vega besides this one with any comparison

Ouch, nice someone took the bullet on these so we don't have to. Also if you're thinking about the RX550 forget it, OpenCL is broken under Linux and AMD refuses to release working drivers. OpenCL works under Windows but the drivers are so unstable I had to set the card aside, it's a paper weight now. Too bad cause the power useage on this card is amazing.

Dear all, anyone can hel me to make script so i can choose GPU 1-3 ETH only and GPU 4-6 ETH+DCR?
Hello Use 2 launchers with option -di 012 for first one and -di 345 for second don't think it's a proper advice. you should try something like this: #0,1,2 GPUs are in ETH only mode: -mode 1-012 Thanks, I discover this option What about fee ? Is-it 1% or 2% ? I would also like to know the answer to this

The fee will be 2% if you run in dual mode, regardless of if you select single mode only for certain GPU's. Solution : run two instances of claymore, one with dual mode, and another program launch with solo mode. you will pay 2%, and 1% respectively.
