Love the redesign.  Smiley

Q: Is there a way to save the trading strategies, so I don't have to set them up all over again after a restart or software upgrade?

Cheers

    one4many

Hey one4many,

If leonArdo closes correctly, they should be saved to a state file. Then it doesn't matter if you upgrade, they should load again.

But we have to admit this is not very robust. In view of that we are going to implement a solution by which all GUI changes are immediately persisted to a DB and this should make it bullet proof.

Sorry, if as I guess from your mail, the save didn't work for you this time.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Ah ok ... It actually never work for me. Quite frustrating sometimes.
The ability so save a some and/or all of them would be great. If I can add the X-mas wishlist, a preview before loading (mouse-over, showing a selected strategy) would be awesome.

Regards

Hi one4many,

I just checked and it is also not working for me!!

Will work on a fix. But it definitely worked before. What should happen is that when you log into leonArdo again, any strategies that were running are in a suspended mode. You then have the option to delete the strategy or to simply re-start it.

But you are right! It is not working now!

Best wishes,
The leonArdo guys

Huh Well I'm not sure if you have noticed ... it is SOFTWARE ... show me ONLY ONE software product which has no bugs and works perfectly from version one and never needed new features!
Guess what? It doesn't exist! ... Otherwise would your spelling be perfect English as well, even when it is not your mother language.

The fix is in. Now if you close leonArdo and re-open it, all previously loaded strategies should be there in a "suspended" state. If you right click the "suspended" label you have the options to stop it or resume it.

Clicking on "Update available" or "Up to date!" link on leonArdo's login screen will take you to the download.

Thanks for the heads up on this one4many Smiley

All the best,
The leonArdo guys

Some nice new features including key encryption Smiley

Having a problem using Polo's trusted IP feature for the API. leonArdo doesn't seem to agree with the IP Polo is seeing. I've tried adding the local IP to the list but no luck.
Am I missing something here?

EDIT: Ok, got it, my bad Smiley

No bother. The poloniex interface is a little confusing there. But yes, you just need to add the local ip address it picks up and it works!

Sorry guys but it seems like our data collection is down for Bitstamp and Bittrex. We are looking into it now.

You can continue to use leonArdo, it will just be missing some data from earlier today...

Missing data on Poloniex

It turns out if we use the standard return 200 trades API call on poloniex instead of a time window call in which you return trades for the last hour or so, we miss a lot of trades. For example, last night we set both running to test it and the time window API call had approx 600K ETH of trades (matching the poloniex website) whereas the standard call had only 431K. Nearly 170k trades were missing! This might suggest that we are just not polling enough, but there are periods when nothing is returned for up to an hour.

We have added a fix for this so existing customers can download a new version.

All the best
The leonArdo guys
