It is quite risky to accept to have your salary in Bitcoins.
The value of Bitcoin is unstable, so if it increase or decrease, it may affect the amount received.
It's just a common reason for rejected to accept bitcoin for your salary and ever you think, does you can at any time to again and again, back to exchange site just only to converting your bitcoin into your local currency just only to filled your daily needs? it's very bad for me to dong that.
Fluctuation is the only thing will consider all worker do not want to received their salary in terms of bitcoin. Those people who want to received their salary in bitcoin its because they only see the value of bitcoin now they do not consider if the price will goes down.

I personally have no problem being paid in Bitcoin. However, fiat is far better than Bitcoins in terms of stability . Also, there aren't as many business that accept bitcoins as compared to the number of businesses accepting fiat. I'll do fine but IMHO BTC isn't ready to be paid as salary to people yet.

I would like 20% of my salary to be paid in bitcoin. I save save half of that. And I will spend the other half.

Yeah if it's your will is good, using 20% of your salary to invest. But what the company where you work, want to make a payment of salaries by 2 methods. Because it will make increased operating costs.

This was a topic not too long ago.  Given how little money I actually make, I would absolutely not take bitcoin as my paycheck.  It's way too volatile and could easily lose too much purchasing power from the time I get paid to the time I need to spend it.  It's not worth the hassle.  In addition to that, I would have to convert it to fiat to pay my landlord, utilities, phone bill, etc.  I suppose if I had a bitcoin debit card that would work, but the volatility comes back into play.

So for me, hell no.

It is really risky if you are going to accept bitcoin as your salary. But if the company is forcing you to use bitcoin then let it be. Just exchange it to fiat afterwards you are going to receive your salary in your bitcoin wallet address. And as of now, stores are not yet accepting bitcoins in terms of payment. So, it is still hassle.
agreed, it is hassle to exchange you bitcoin into fiat every month or every half a month if your receive your salary in 15 30 basis and also you can not received your salary as a whole like before because every exchange you got charge for the services on remittance center or in the bank.

Yeah that's why if my boss is going to ask me that he is going to convert my salary into bitcoin. I'm going to think it first or if not I'm going to disagree. Because it is very risky when can't tell what is going to be the price tomorrow. So, it is better to be wiser and let the fiat money get paid for your salary.

That is the right choice. If you really want to invest in bitcoin then it should be your choice. Not the choice of your boss or the company.  No one should force you and the salary should still be in fiat.

I would accept Bitcoin as a salary for the secondary or part time job. Maybe even as a small part of salary for my full time job. But as a only paycheck no  because volatility is to big and  you can't have some kind of security that you acctualy have the amount of money that you have earned.

i think this payment  will not work because of unstable condition of bitcoin rates..  if it was stable , this company could pay its employees salary with bitcoin but not. on the other hand, it can easily be realized by a coin named tetherusd which has fixed- price index .

It is somewhat hard to accept if you are going to accept bitcoin as your salary. because we all know that the price of bitcoin is very unstable.
But we are on the technology era where things are getting convenient and created for better and easier transactions. I know in the future this is going to be implemented by the law.

Indeed, If ever I'm employee though in reality I own a business I still won't accept  bitcoin as my salary. Why? It is because it will be too risky for me to accept that, unless if the government of each countries will declare it as a tool replacement and become a payment salary of their employee or bitcoin have a fix or stable price I think that would be acceptable.
For sure your a filipino mr/ms. batang bitcoin because I'm also a filipino.

Yes thats the main advantage bitcoin has that we can transfer btc to even other country withing few minutes and without any much fees as well.
If you have to do this regularily then it would be perfect for u to get the salary in bitcoins.
For me i dont have to do that so i would prefer fiat.

Main characteristic of bitcoin is its volatility, there no such stable price of bitcoin. Theres a risk of recieving bitcoin as your salary because you wont know the price  if going to up or down. what if you have lots of bitcoin dependent on your salary then the price would go down? I think its not ideal to receive salary in bitcoin

Well, I think that's not true, price keeps on moving... So probably if you will accept your whole salary in bitcoin, I think when you wake up the other day, it will have different value...  Sending money using bitcoin is not that practical, besides, if you are sending it to other person who will convert it into fiat, well, I guess the price might be a little lower...
I think using BTC as a salary in not a bad idea... even though its fluctuating , its prices are stable....

Don't rely on bitcoin's stability because it wont last long, and it is not practical since bitcoin's
price is constantly fluctuating and may affect the total of your salary when the price change,
and i don't think a company would want to pay bitcoin's as a salary because of its instability.

Have you really thought about it first? Bitcoin as your salary. No matter what happens? If it falls or rise same price as it is on the contract? I cant imagine it yet.

But what will you with you daily needs of living life where you bring money for that if u accept salary in bitcoin and use it for altcoins trading.
And i dont think any company also gonna do so because of bitcoins unstability in price so it would be better to get salary in our paper currency and buy some bitcoin with that i we want to trade with them.

Some people here are saying that Bitcoin is not accepted everywhere so it's impossible to accept it as a salary, but I don't understand this. Can't you just exchange your coins on whatever currency you want and then spend it? I think it's not that complicated so I would accept Bitcoin as my salary with pleasure.
