Will you accept bitcoin as your salary?

Some people here are saying that Bitcoin is not accepted everywhere so it's impossible to accept it as a salary, but I don't understand this. Can't you just exchange your coins on whatever currency you want and then spend it? I think it's not that complicated so I would accept Bitcoin as my salary with pleasure.

yeah you can actually exchange your coins for fiat but then i think it would be a hard thing to earn money because the price could drop really fast

There is no problem receiving monthly salary in btc. The employer's should be flexible enough to control the constant fluctuation.

But there still a risk on accepting Bitcoin as a salary since it's Bitcoins price is unstable it may inflate or fluctuate and it also affects your total salary. Yes. It's good to have a Bitcoin savings but it's still risky nowadays because of btc volatility. Even it's popular I think majority in here would still choose fiat rather than Bitcoin.

Yup, it's 99.99% of the company has not issued any policy regarding the salary provided by each employee using bitcoin. Because they still do not understand the workings of the bitcoin and not all companies could do something good for using bitcoin. Still enjoy what we get and we certainly will get incredible results

This will be complicated if they don't have local bitcoin exchanger which is the real problem for lots of country currently. And next point is while exchanging bitcoin to fiat will make you loss few % like 3-5% of bitcoin real value in exchanging, depositing, withdrawing fees. While if we become able to directly buy/sell bitcoin with our bank account accepting salary in form of bitcoin will be no issue for everyone.

I wouldn't want to keep much more than $1000 in Bitcoin as I don't like how volatile it is. To receive my salary in Bitcoin would be very dangerous as an decrease in the price of Bitcoin by 1% would mean a huge loss for me.

but how far this happens, lf price always goes upwards then bitcoin will lose its originality as bitcoin nature is the price variations, better to get our salary in local currency and make bitcoin as another income.

Probably bitcoin prices tend to go up, but if we see often up and down. And the name of the price correction will occur, the problem is if your payday is when it happens it will be very risky receive a salary in bitcoin. Just my opinion.

mainly because i still need fiat to live my life and spend money so receiving only bitcoin means i have to do a conversion every day that i want to spend also the price is so volatile that i can't feel safe if i receive everything in bitcoin.

Well yes I agree with you. As a secondary source of income it is very acceptable, maybe we are from the same country.

Second is I need fiat currency as a salary since there are no stores or shop here that are accepting bitcoins and if u convert bitcoin to fiat currency there are additional charges so it is a disadvantage to me.

i am sure that price could not drop because getting more stronger and popular day by day and maximum people want to accept their salary in bitcoin and they can get a good profit from bitcoin if they hold their salary in some percentage in bitcoin.

Dont expect too much it might hurt to you if the bitcoin price would go the opposite way. Its risky to recieve  bitcoin as a salary since its volatility you can predict its price and in that case your total salary would really depends on btc price. If price is high then you would be profitable but if it goes down then  it would be a disaster.

Exactly theres no guarantee if you would recieve bitcoin as a salary. Inspite of hassle of exchanging into fiat everyday you would be still worried about the price, if you decided to accept bitcoin as salary it would be useless though if shops on your country doesnt  accept bitcoin as a payment atleast you can exchange it to fiat.

then it's not actually accepting salary in bitcoin form,it's just having salary in fiat even it's on exchanger,and by doing this you're wasting effort,times,and money for paying fees when you could get your salary directly through fiat
