I like this coin, i didn't find any recent news about the awesome DAO attacker? he totally deserved all money he got via the exploit.

If you were the owner of the DAO, what would you feel after the DAO attack. Do you still think he deserves it?

 i'd feel pretty damn stupid (among other things) to  say the least...
 and whether or not he/she deserves it..thats irrelavent, what difference does it make?

there are so many page you find infos about progress etc makes

keep in mind its stable as can be and its only 2 month old.

i watch the price since beginning and it seems to be almost always 10% of what eth is. but it can do what eth does so its undervalued for me.

it has a growing comunity
and more and more realice its here to stay. big names in the game show interest.

Well it really seems a long time coming since the last piece of good news for Eth Classic fans and investors alike .The last few weeks have seen very little happening in ways of development from the Ethereum Classic community and the market has been equally depressing ,seeing prices fall quicker than Buterins principals .But it seems behind the scenes quite a lot has been happening before the next Meet Up on september 23rd and somehow some big names have been drawn into the community .The event itself is being hosted my Microsoft at the Microsoft HQ in Paddington and you can find directions to their location on their website here .

Not only that but the one and only Charles Hoskinson ,who is one of the original developers of Ethereum .He is now rumoured to be a strong supporter of Etc ,and will be at the Meet Up in London this week .It`s thought Charles will talk about both Ethereum and Ethereum Classic ,and giving insights to what his company will be doing to further the Eth Classic cause .

In an article on CoinDesk ,Hoskinson stated that he believes the response to the DAO exploit by the Ethereum development community should have shown more restraint in the immediate aftermath .He also claimed “A better path ,would have involved working actively with stakeholders ,exchange operators and the other members of the Ethereum community to jointly develop a solution to be presented in a concerted effort .” and we have all seen how easy it is to track these transactions when necessary with the amusing efforts of the WHG trying their hardest to cover the trail of the missing millions with little success .

After the disappointment of Iphone deciding to reject an App created by JAXX that enabled Bitcoin and Ethereum Classic payments last month this is a much needed boost for Etc fans .

Ξpool - Updates

1.) upgrades to parity 1.3.2 went very well. Mining prowess seems to be same or even better
2.) Parity blockchain data moved to 100% RamDisk. We are now getting sub 500μs import speeds and 100μs stratum broadcasts.
3.) Updated Mining and Stratum servers to Linux Low Latency kernel.
4.) Payouts are now instant once 1ETC mature balance is reached!

Is this something like Etherex? Please stop posting only a link and please start talking to the people in the community. An ICO like this could he a scam and this will put ETC in a bad light. So it would be better cor everyone to stay away from it until more information is given to us.

Ethereum classic price remained under the resistance area as highlighted in yesterday’s post. The highlighted bearish trend line on the hourly chart of ETC/BTC (data feed via Simplefx) is still active and protecting gains. I mentioned two things yesterday. First, it won’t be easy for the bulls to break the resistance. Second, there is a warning sign for the sellers in the form of a double bottom pattern near 0.00182BTC.

So what does that mean? If you cannot break resistance then it cannot go up if there is a double bottom then most likely that is the support. Would it be wise to buy more as it reaches 0.00182 BTC?

This is my first altcoin to hold for the long term and sometimes I think it is not a good buy because I bought starting at .00205 - .0021. Now I believe it would be needed to buy again at a lower price to average down my loss while it is small. It would also be preferable if 0.00182 is the bottom.

Or you might instead make your losses even bigger by buying when the price is falling. The best strategy to recover from a loss is to sell and hope for a lot lower price(luckely i did that with XMR) or invest in a more promesing coin.

I like ETC but obviously there is no bottom for how low the price can go http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/peercoin/
