Yes after banks started investing in ETH it is quite clear that ETH wants to go centralized and stay controlled by shit foundation and banks. This will be really plus point for ETC on long run.

From what i understand nanopool is about 15% of the network and all the pools together only account for about half the network. With difficulty this low i think many are solo mining. I was using this tool to monitor but it stoped working http://etherx.com/pools/edit, i just added up % and it comes to around 80% so only 20% solo?

If people start going solo, the diff will shift back and it will be time for the ASIC's and pools again. I am not sure, but does ETH share the 10 min target for diff shifting?

@ Carlo, I got as far as Coin Tossing/Guaranteed Output Delivery and realised i have seen this video before sometime last month. Maybe Charles put a link to it somewhere. I wish my mind was like... 30years younger and i could remember new stuff better. However, this is related to the recently published research paper from IOHC https://eprint.iacr.org/2016/889.pdf Ref: https://twitter.com/IOHK_Charles/status/776048255461314560How are the peer reviews for this publication going? So... input/output are going to want to implement this in order to gain ecological validity? That's going to be an uphill battle in ETC but I have my fingers crossed for you all and will support where I can (if the implementation of a hybid algo was to go ahead). Ethereum people still have lots of Etc but, Classical people don't want them investing in-case they try and centralise governance. There has to be some way of putting a prenuptial in place first. How are the peer reviews for this publication being received? If this gets implemented in any other "new coin", other than ETC... please give me the heads up as i will follow it's progress and add that "new coin" to my list of crypto activities?

Nothing happened at devcon except cashethf which first already exists as tether and secondly, isn't useful with aml/kyc and forks. I do not see a future for etherium other than the foundation criminals continuing to dump on bagholders until they're done. Most went home and dumped more to get back their Shanghai hooker money.

I'm watching the ETC hashrate climb, looks like ethereum have problems again. their hashrate is ~2700GH/s (down from ~5TH/s) I will get back in a pool at around ~750GH/s currently at 550GH/s (up 100GH/s on the hour) http://fork.ethstats.net/ https://etcchain.com/pool is a good tool for watching the pools

It is not Microsoft sponsored or anything like that is it? Its simply/maybe being held in the microsoft building, by an ex microsoft guy Mr Hoskins.
Lets not spread fud.
