Nothing happened at devcon except cashethf which first already exists as tether and secondly, isn't useful with aml/kyc and forks. I do not see a future for etherium other than the foundation criminals continuing to dump on bagholders until they're done. Most went home and dumped more to get back their Shanghai hooker money.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

From what i understand nanopool is about 15% of the network and all the pools together only account for about half the network. With difficulty this low i think many are solo mining. I was using this tool to monitor but it stoped working http://etherx.com/pools/edit, i just added up % and it comes to around 80% so only 20% solo? I am not disagreeing with your suggestion to solo mine, only pointing out the fact that people need to observe and watch what happens and be ready to change to meet the environment.

I'm watching the ETC hashrate climb, looks like ethereum have problems again. their hashrate is ~2700GH/s (down from ~5TH/s) I will get back in a pool at around ~750GH/s currently at 550GH/s (up 100GH/s on the hour) http://fork.ethstats.net/ https://etcchain.com/pool is a good tool for watching the pools

It is not Microsoft sponsored or anything like that is it? Its simply/maybe being held in the microsoft building, by an ex microsoft guy Mr Hoskins.

At this time, once people start to solo mine and enough blocks go by , the difficulty will start shifting back in the other direction.

I seem to be hitting more uncles than blocks. Moreover, Eth uncles were worth 4.375 before the fork while Etc only pay 3.75 for uncles And still no working video from last night, double

Posting here from reddit thread - https://www.reddit.com/r/EthereumClassic/comments/543f96/friendly_competition/"Is it possible for the relationship between both chains to be a peaceful rivalry? I went to an Ethereum meetup and many people were actually quite supportive. Some even open about still owning etc as well as eth. Which in my opinion is a very prudent decision by anyone "not supporting ETC", I think it is wise to not sell a free insurance policy even if you do not believe in ETC at all. Friendly competition between us will facilitate innovation and accelerate growth in very positive ways. The difference between siblings that fight all the time vs siblings that challenge and compete with each other is a quantifiable example of this dynamic. So we can fight until the other blockhains focused on working hard pass us by or we can push and challenge each other in order to reach seemingly unattainable goals. This is a choice we must all make, I'm confident both communities will choose wisely." Edit To Clarify : I think both communities are doing a pretty good job of keeping the peace. I posted this in /r/Ethereum as well as /r/EthereumClassic for anyone in either community that chooses to disrupt instead of contribute.

Darth Vitalik and his army of Storm Troopers, because looking around, i dont see and Hans Solo or Luke Skywalker here... probally a few Hairy Ewoks, thats about it. So it makes total sense to stay on the Empires good side, until ETC has enough forces to make a challenge, but the force is strong with Darth Vitalik, his power grows daily, his blockchain is creeping into world leading businesses.... ETC has to keep the pedal to the metal, full force ahead... Future Bright for ETC, Keep Darth Happy you must!
