Hello everyone, first post but have been lurking for awhile, got a 6970 back on 2-23-12 to run 3 screens for my on-line racing and found bitcoin, 2 months later I've got 3 rigs pushing 4.7 GH/s crazy eh?

Hello people!
I've been interested in this technology ever since reading about it on digg.com probably 4-5 years ago. I'm a jack-of-all-trades IT support tech at a very large company by day, and bitcoin forum lurker by night. Over the past few weeks I've become pretty obsessive.
I'm fascinated by the possibility that hardware can pay for itself mining, and have one meager Radeon HD6850 going at 220Mh/s.
My personal finances aren't such that I can justify buying BTC as an investment. I can justify buying a FPGA and learning linux. It's something I WANT to do, and have this computer nerd curios/passionate drive to learn as much as I can about technology.
You don't know me and haven't heard from me yet, but I love this forum and the wealth of knowledge contained in it.
