Hello guys, What do I need to do if I have Gbytes on my Byteball address before Aug. 7 (distribution). Do I need to still chat with the transition bot or what?
Do I still need to do something to qualify for the airdrop distribution? Please help me,

You don't need to do anything for the GBYTEs distribution, but if you want to receive Blackbytes, you have to make sure all those GBYTEs are in one or more addresses linked by the transition bot. Just say "hi" to the transition bot, and it should show you your linked addresses.

Is the distribution automatic after the snapshot? Where can we see if the snapshot happened already? Can we track if our Byteball address holding GBYTES is already included for the distribution?
Will it send confirmation to us that the snapshot has been taken already?

After the snapshot, Tony typically waits a few hours to make sure there are no reorgs. Once the distribution of GBYTEs starts, it seems mostly, if not completely automate and occurs pretty quickly. The distribution of Blackbytes, on the other hand, takes and starts with the most funded addresses. Tony usually makes announcements both in this thread and on Slack of which block the snapshot will be and when distribution of GB and GBB completes. The Slack channel is:

You will get GBYTE without linking, but you need to link in order to receive blackbytes.
Linking is easy: in the wallet, chat to the Transition Bot. It will tell you what to do. Just link any Bitcoin address, it can be empty, and you're good to receive blackbytes for the GBYTE you have.
Make sure all your GBYTE is on the linked address, and not on change addresses.

Okay thanks, all cleared now, so we will receive an announcement or notification when snapshot has been done already? Or we still need to wait for the Airdrop to be distributed before we can move the funds out of our wallet?

978420 BTC llinked  which will bring approx. : 61,151 gb

and we have 365,903gb in circulation which will bring : 73,180 gb more after airdrop

So

 365,903+73,180+58,505= 500,234 Gb in total in circulation after give away.

That's 50% of all gbytes.

There is no reward for the blackbytes because they are private and it's not publicly known you own them.

There is no reward for the blackbytes because they are private and it's not publicly known you own them.

even if you ignore blackbytes,

for 1 btc linked you get 0.0625 GBB or 0.015 BTC which is 1.5%
for 1 btc bought you get 20% more in GBB

As more gbyte arrive i suspect the price per unit will reduce in the short term but it's still profitable if timed right.

Yes but the price absolutely will not remain the same. You could've more than doubled your gbyte if youd sold before the last distribution and bought recently.

yes i know that, but long term especailly after the 3 airdrops, it should be more profitable than just linking
