The snapshot for round 8 has been taken: block 479537.

Byte distribution will start in a few hours!

Isn't it influenced by the eclipse? Cheesy

Is this an official confirmation?

Yes.

Block 479537 was it  (UNLESS there is a reorg.  Enough blocks have happened though to prevent even this issue as well).

This model does not fix value of byteball only easy quick 💰 money for daytraiders. This model will not do byteball succeed in value

Weekly snap would do a good job on stability of value and daily even better...

Sad that people only sell off and care a shit about technology... I don't feel amused and safe about that.

it would be really hard for people to stay on top of linking if it was daily or weekly. coins move around all the time.

Ok that's not even a real problem. Other coins have weekly based drops. And their value is constantly rising. Good luck!

Like ____________ and ____________ ? Go ahead.

He means they can sell off the bytes they received from the prior distro (or bytes purchased simply to get the 20%) and still get the bonus.

Right, and if you planned to get out of GBYTE because you thought the price was going to tank following the airdrop, the play was to let people buy into YOU pre-airdrop. Not crash the price expecting the price to crash further.

All in all seems like an amateur move or an over reaction to the sudden announcement made by tonych which is actually BULLish news.

That many amateurs? I'd rather go with the sell and buy back theory than believing everyone's stupid. But I guess we'll never know

Is there any update when snapshot will be taken it's too late. I think distribution will take much longer even still no snapshot of blockchain and some people posting into thread it has been done. Any official account there who can confirm this?

Is was taken over an hour ago.

Agreed.

If I tell you it drops every airdrop and comes back prior to the next airdrop, the first step you make should be to check if that's actually what has happened (for 7 airdrops so far).  The next step would be to decide if you wanted to make a play on it.

Selling just prior (couple days) to the airdrop and buying back just after it (couple of days) would have made you a lot.  Yes, every one of the last 7 airdrops.   I see no difference in number 8.

I'm suggesting the sell and buy back theory but villian did it all wrong.

I like the new model to stop just the rich BTC bags to receive and dump GBYTE without any use for Byteball.

Sorry guys, first time in this thread.
Will I need to reassign and sign the BTC wallets for the next airdrop? Or as long as I keep BTCs on them it's ok?

So apparently when you send GByte to your specific GByte address it will place them into a different address in your wallet, therefore these coins that you thought were going to be automatically linked in the last airdrop won't, because they are in a different address.

i don`t have any problem to sent Gbyte to the address that the bot tolds before, you also can check if it is sent to the right address with chating to the bot

once an address is linked it will stay linked. you just have to take care that BTC is in the address because of change addresses.

So how do I get them? Because on the Bytes Distribution page it shows the BTC addressed linked and with share % received, but then on the wallet there is 0 bytes...
