how much is now the circulating supply?
is it like 50% of the previous amount in circulation just got distributed? huge amount that will eat up some of the marketcap.
looks like cheaper to buy now than if you bought GBYTES within the last 2 weeks (even if you got the 0.2 per byte bonus).

Yeah somewhere around 40-50% I think This is not due to the airdroppend coins being dumped. Someone dumped hard either immediately after the snapshot or immediately before, speculating to buy a few hours later at a cheper price. |

If I understand correctly - blackbytes are held only on users' wallets.
What happens to the blackbytes that I am supposed to receive, if I don't login for a year into my byteball wallet.
In the case of normal cryptocurrencies, I just hold the private keys to my address and coins are transferred to my address, irrespective of whether I am logged in or not. Is it the same with blackbytes?

For Blackbytes you need to get also the private informations that the peer sends to you. The hub serves as a buffer, I don't know if it will keep the (encrypted) data about your Blackbytes for 1 year. |

Distribution of bytes is finished, 110,411.089425997 GB distributed. New available supply is 365,903.008377294 GB. It is already updated on coinmarketcap.
Distribution of blackbytes will start in a few hours and will take much longer, likely more than 1 day. I'll post when it is done.

I have just got my coin. Too slow before the dump. Therefore, I will keep these coin in my wallet and wait for the next distribution. This is very good and poteential. I hope that more people will start using byteball and make this coin stronger than ever. Byteball should be developed and used by rich people

In other words, if a friend sends me some bytes to a new address, I don't have to link that address or anything, I'll just receive 0.2 bytes per byte tonight, right?
No. Your GByte address needs to be linked to a bitcoin address (even if empty). If you haven't moved your GByte, then you're already linked since you got them from a prior distrobution. If in question, just check the transition site to see if your byteball is linked. Now, if a friend sends to a NEW byteball receiving, then you must link to a bitcoin address (even if the btc addy is empty). That's how it's been explained to me several times, and linking only takes a minute, so not going to risk not getting a bonus of 20% I received the 20% byte bonus to an unlinked byteball address.  seems you don't need to link them! |

To be honest I have much better user experience with Byteball than other alt coins. Wallet works great across operating systems and everything works as advertised, I really believe that it should be developed further, after all the air drops. I would say the future airdrops should reduce the amount per coin, to make more rounds, for more people to have time to involve.

Totally agree with you on that. The devs really thought about the future - normies will only accept something they can easily understand, so why not make an app-like wallet by default? |
