Ok, why are some able to get in on this and some have to wait a few days?? sounds sketchy.. First gb are given for linked btc and later for having gb in wallet. Blackbytes are always distributed later. Whats sounds sketchy? FREE MONEY? Many screamers like yourself trying to make this looks shady because they didnt follow correct procedure on time. Bot is swithced off during airdrop. after few days will be back up. I didn't say shady, I am more wondering if because I was getting this error before the snapshot, and still after the snapshot am I now unable to participate in receiving the Airdrop. I have a significant amount of BTC which has been in the same address for months, so I would like to participate. But when I try to link my BTC address to my BYTE address I get this error. If all I need to do is wait a few days, that is fine.. airdrop is finished so you wont get anything, you'll need to wait until the next airdrop next month |

Really nice and clean distribution process, I will hold for now.
Congrats for everything, and special thanks for having a nice and light client for linux, something that even more hyped alt-cryptos really miss.

That is good time to buy right after the distribution I always like to buy on that time because after this price start increasing when all people done with profit taking. I believe one day 1GB will be equal to a Bitcoin and after this it will get more value.

It's too late. You should claim at the next distribution, which will be on the 7th of August. It happens every full moon, because the dev is a werewolf. |

No, just before 18:10 UTC on August 7th. I linked ~29 minutes before 04:07 UTC on July 9 and it worked. Sure, I didn't receive anything (0 BTC balance) but it linked. Good time to load up gentlemen

Well they better not still need my btc in that address cause i moved them already You can move your BTC after the snapshot block is taken. The Blackbytes will show up in a couple of days. I wrote a guide that tries to cover some of these basic issues that keep coming up, it may be worth your time. Good Luck! |

Before the last distribution we almost hit $1000. I think $924 was the top. This was around 20-22% more than the peak a distribution round before, so if the pattern holds, we should break the $1000 easily. Usually the downloads on Github are secure but you never know if the account got hacked and the files are exchanged. OH, BTW, it would be nice if you provided a checksum of the Byteball downloads so we can verify that our downloads haven't been tampered with.

It becomes a phenomenon that the price pump before the snapshot and jump after that.  when was the snapshot , i miss it , i did receive coins but i miss the announce of snapshot ? Read just two posts prior to your question. It was block 474898 which was solved at 4:20:40 UTC. It was the first block solved after the full moon of 4:07 UTC bb didn't distributed yet?

So, if you're expecting a small amount, then you'll have to wait. It generally takes a day or two to complete the distribution of blackbytes. Only if you go back in time. You can't claim something after the fact, so, you'll have to wait for the next distribution. Just link your BTC address with the transition bot when it comes back online. But i have to link the wallet before the 7th right?
Yes, you have plenty of time. You have to wait for the transition bot to start accepting new BTC links. I wanted to add another BTC address. The transition bot does not reply when entering a BTC address. What'd up?
The transition bot is down until the distribution is complete. Wait a day or two in order to link, etc. Basically, you can't link a BTC address during/after the distribution for a couple of days. |

I'm getting the same error since v1.8,this is the reply i got,I still haven't figured out how to fix it Getting "no byteball prefix" on startup in version 1.8.2
What does that mean?
