Not that you can give CMC any real credibility since it is such a flawed piece of crap.

But even taking that into consideration (which most noobs do not) seeing this at position 104 is ludicrous.

I would suggest an immediate main forum page dedicated byteball thread and posting reward structure right now along with one last airdrop for 15% after 2-3 months of holding that thread there on page 1 and only for those that have their BB address linked to their sigs and posting in that thread. Therefore the 15% airdrop would not even come near to depleting the left overs by 1/2

The main board is still a major jumping point for noobs. Finding byteball now in this ann section is unlikely before stumbling into some awesome sounding new shit ico that is going do extract their btc.

The main board here still beats any other forum of advertising.

I would advise we get on to this asap. A catchy thread title naming it as the most undervalued project on this board.

And I suggest to airdrop on Chinese moon festival which is in August I believe , and only to chinese registered email and jumio Id account holder.
And Airdrop only relative to a logarithmic value in dollars or yuans terms, not by percent.

Chinese market is very important, very important.

Chinese people hava WeChat with a chinese yuan wallet in it.
What is that mean to byteball?
Since Byteball wallet is very fast with a lot of real world aplications, chinese can trade among them self, they are very honest at trading they can send bytes for yuans instanly.
Also most Chinese phone users are Android, beacause they have many chinese phone brand which are unkown to us, and all are android.
And Forget Iphone, they will ask Tony later, And Tony will say No to Iphone Smiley

They also like gambling and maybe binary trade will florish there.
Of course they travel a lot so I hope "fly delay, byteball pay" also florish.

And I have seen many crypto pos coin are setting communities in Hong Kong for some reason...

Airdrop should be for good potential markets like China and South Korea, but better for China because of the WeChat thing...

I lived in China for while.

quite nice ideea... maybe we can start a campaign for this moon festival.

more  awareness about byteball , more the platform get used and start to be more  functional.

i would like to see as soon, this platform used by milions of ppl.

on Monday September 24, 2018 will the chinese moon festival

Look byteball is coming from the sky in China...

How many coins on CMC's top 100 list don't justify their presence and there will be huge shuffle in positions over and over again. Byteball is the project which can not remain behind for long time and will bounce back before the forming of next bull run. This time I expect big increase because it has use cases and consolidation is being done in my opinion.
Here now perhaps I agree with you that the cmc in the top-100 a lot of inflated coins and not quite worthy to be there. And indeed will occur constantly changes list of.

Two questions, I want to get deeper into byteball, where can I get testnet coins?
And the second one, I heard there is still some kind of distribution, how to take a part in it?

You mean the testnet wallet where you will receive free bytes and get the chance to try the chatbots? Check the download links at https://byteball.org/testnet.html

And the second one, I heard there is still some kind of distribution, how to take a part in it?
The new distribution method they announced recently was: having a contribution to World Community Grid and you'll receive some Bytes based on that. Complete info can be found at https://medium.com/byteball/computing-for-good-again-3795336bdaed

You can find the testnet wallet here:

https://byteball.org/testnet.html

There will currently be no further airdrop distributions.

This proposal is quite good. China is a huge cryptocurrency market. Extending this market will help bytebll's rapid development.

What are you guys smoking, are you seriously suggesting doing a distribution round based on ethnicity and nationality, that is fucking nuts!

Doing an airdrop on Chinese new year to promote byteball to crypto brothers and sisters in China is a great idea, but ffs, include everyone!

How would a distro to Americans only go down, or white South Africans, would get some headlines, but not good ones.

Leave racially based distributions well alone, crypto is about global inclusion.

Don't bother with testnet, better crunch a few days for World Community Grid and get some real bytes. You need only a few to try Byteball out and play with assets for example.

Hi guys! Does anyone know whether you can run solidity on byteball? or is there a mention of how the smart contracts work on Byteball?

You can't run Solidity on Byteball. Here is a thread where tonych explains the declarative language he chose for Byteball's smart contracts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1617816. You can also take a look at the white paper: https://byteball.org/Byteball.pdf.

< all images snipped >
At the moment, only P2P smart contracts between Byteball users. If some day in the future, we can see smart contracts between airplane companies and their users, it will help Byteball fly over the Moon.
Currently, smart contracts for the industry are likely ideas, which need to be boost up somehow to bring them into real life services.
By the way, I love the ideas.

One of our fans (MeneerT on bitcointalk) is organizing a video contest that will be funded from the undistributed funds.

Here are the rules:

Post a video about the unique features of Byteball you like the most.
The best 2 videos receive rewards: $500 in Bytes for the best, $250 in Bytes for the second best.

You need to write in the title Byteball (so that we are able to find your video).
Write your Byteball address in the description box of the video (so that we are able to send your bytes easily).
Your video is new and at least 90 seconds long.
The video must be uploaded from today to 1 May inclusive, and the link to the video must posted at least here or in #video_competition channel on slack.

Then, the community on slack, bitcointalk, and telegram will say which videos they like the most.
Based on that and MeneerT's own preference he will make a selection of the best 5 videos and thereafter the community fund's trustees will take the final decision about the best 2.

The winners will be announced on May 7.

The deadline of the video contest has been reached in all time zones of planet earth.
Between 16 April and 1 May inclusiv various videos are published on Youtube with Byteball in the title.

https://youtu.be/SROUuwbHB-k   21-apr-2018   Crypto Stalker
https://youtu.be/T0Nz3wEBAe8   23-apr-2018   John

https://youtu.be/xNNa4i9Rwf8   30-apr-2018   Bernd Meininger

https://youtu.be/fJWPnjmre98   30-apr-2018   h3ym0nk3y

At this moment the videos of Crypto Stalker and Milán Horváth are privat, what means they can only be found true a direct link. I hope that both uploaders decide to change that into public, after all Byteball deserves the attention. Last but not least, the video of h3ym0nk3y is not new, it was a little bit naughty to delete this video from 21 february and upload it yesterday  Grin

If any of you want to share some thoughts of which videos are truly the best 2 shout it out here or on slack, your opinion counts too!

I have a slight preference for the following 5 in random order: John, Louis Thomas, Paul Murray, Bernd Meininer and Milán Horváth.

It is up to the community fund's trustees to make the final verdict !

GBYTE wallet already on Maintenance status ("27-04-18 investigating Deposit issues"). Maybe and hopefully the problem will be sorted out after this investigation. Unlike in other exchanges, the deposit issue seems to occur frequently in Cryptopia, so imo it's better to make it the last option to use for GBYTE.
Do you know how long it takes for cryptopia to fix these kind of issues ?

Looking beyond something is fine, but one must focus on something that he already has.

I have also lost my bytes in the shitty Cryptopia exchange, so I highly recommend to stay away from this one.
In my experience, if you can not verify your account in Bittrex, cryptox.pl exchange might be a good substitution for the case of Byteball.
I deposited and withdrawned coins in the one without any issues.
How did you lost your byteball in cryptopia? I've deposited byteball in that exchange but unfortunately, it doesnt show in my accout. I opened a ticket and that's why byteball is under maintenance right now.

Take a look at this article for the details: https://medium.com/byteball/computing-for-good-again-3795336bdaed. It is said that for every 150000 points you get one dollar in bytes. There is also a one-time reward for WCG users who had points before enrolling in the distribution.

I have had bad experiences with Cryptopia, which are not related to Byteball transactions.
However, as lots of people warned about the exchange, I don't think someone should take risk and deposit their coins to the exchange.

Oh no man, again Cryptopia having troubles with Byteball. What the hell! This time I must say I'm happy I got my funds out of it and I actually started using those trading bots we have in app. Better trade small and safe that having our funds locked.
