Have you had plan to expand the campaign for more weeks, tonych? Hope that I will have chances to join Byteball signature campaign in the future.
The signature campaign is planned for 4 weeks.

So, why keep using Telegram instead of changing to other platforms which can help campaign managers to find cheater easier and exclude all of them from campaigns.
We don't know their IP.  User information provided by telegram is pretty minimal https://core.telegram.org/bots/api#user

In my view the best distribution method of the fund left is airdrop to all byteball holders  in inverse proportion to Gbytes they have, providing they were  kept for at least a month ( to avoid massive dump). The less Gbytes you have the more you get. And it has to be done in one round of airdrop. After this  I expect a market  will soon warm it up.

dunno about this. as ever it's not doing anything to bring in fresh meat.

what the distribution needs is to be clear, decisive and emphatic. it feels like momentum has bled away while ideas are being thrown out and nothing is being seized upon and made to happen. it's like a sailing ship adrift waiting for the wind to pick up. you've no idea when it will.

even if a method isn't the best, if it's done with enough grunt then it jump starts the whole thing.

i've said it before, i'll say it again, distribution needs to end.

that doesn't mean it has to be completed immediately, but all questions surrounding it need to be cleared up and locked in. name the way it'll happen and then make it happen. don't roll it back. don't change it. don't dither.

when that's done other things can be concentrated on.

Can you direct me to where you see yahoo62278 's personal fee for conducting this sig campaign.

In the first sheet of the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fqLoa3mVmVh01GEfoj7_TSilNmORdWnLv91QXvYBBhg/edit#gid=0, check out the last address that has received a payment, it's line 155.

very nice finding. if it is really the payment.

HDHBXPGGQHLOV7XES4LLUT6UPMEMDHVX
4.66

so its about 800$ he gets for this work.

but i think we should have better ideas and not just post about the signature camp.
telegram quiz was a cool idea and it shows a way to use textcoins.

A new ICO on BB Platform : Worldopoly

Worldopoly is the world’s first mobile game combining AR, AI, Geolocationing, Blockchain, and DAG. The ICO is active until 17 May 2018, and you can buy WPT tokens with Bytes, BTC, or Ether.  WPT token is issued both on Byteball and Ethereum platforms but investors on Byteball platform receive increased bonus (even if they pay in ETH or BTC) for investments up to 30 ETH.

Website and all ICO details: https://worldopoly.io

This is a Swiss company.

Wordopoly ICO Bot is already added to the Bot Store.

Mike works and saves, so he has 10 apples.
John doesn't care and wastes, so he has 1 apple.

Let's distribute apples.   Ok Mike, you have 10, so you only get 1 for your hard work and planning.  John, you only have 1, but although you're wasteful and willing to dump, you get 10 apples.  Now you both have 11 (again?).

How is this fair?
The person that actually saves and believes in the system gets less because he HODLed, while the person that may even have received the same amount initially and dump some/most of it gets more?

By spendings his apples (GBytes)  John  stimulated demand thus pushing economy ( Byteball) forward.
By holding his apples (Gbytes) Mike did nothing for economy (Byteball).
Economy  (Byteball) is stimulated by spenders  but not by savers.
To get it, please, read about Keynesian model of economy.

Note:
Good thing I created 100 wallets and split up my Bytes between them (4 months ago).  Based on your idea, I will be far better off than had they simply been in the same wallet.  The same situation that SEMUX had for their distribution (regarding people with a smaller balance receiving the same amount as those with a larger balance (up to 1BTC on the ratio)).

That's fantasy. I don't believe that  a man being of relatively sound mind could split up his Bytes between 100 wallets  4 months ago buying for this 100 PCs.

I would propose that accounts with a 5:1 ratio of followers to following receive a bonus payout. The large accounts that have already signed up have a 1:1 ratio or worse, few original tweets, and likely don't have engaged followers.

When i see people that have supported bb and are recognised posters getting told NO and unknown low level accounts getting YES i think there is cause for concern.

you realise someone can be a byteball supporter and a genuinely mediocre poster at the same time, right?

i've no idea how this guy operates but it's not his job to get sentimental about past affiliations.

That's the least of my concern.

Today, we are launching a Telegram bot that allows to pass a small quiz and get a $5.00 worth reward in Bytes.  It is paid from the undistributed funds.

Full story: https://medium.com/byteball/money-for-knowledge-distribution-via-telegram-quiz-bot-2dd400e22997

Telegram bot: @ByteballQuizBot

About 500 users have passed the quiz since launch (despite frequent offs due to bugs, running out of money, running out of daily quota, etc) but I observe some share of fraud too.  It is not very large but concerning.  To reduce the incentive for fraud, the reward will now be reduced to $2.50.

Unfortunately we are getting more cheaters.  Starting now, the reward is further reduced to $0.35.

could you please tell us how you find the cheaters. if i remember it right you wrote that because telegram needs a phonenumber you found a way to reduce cheating.
is there a way to use telegram with fake phonenumbers? or how did they cheat you?

I see that multiple textcoins are claimed to the same address.
They probably buy telegram accounts or virtual phone numbers.
if you want telegram account they are for sale 1000 for $37 (not need to mention where)and the more you buy the cheaper you ca get them
Doubt that is even legit. Any telegram account logged in from a new location requires the code. Do you think the seller logs into each account to give you that code when you ask? lol no. Scrap the telegram and host it on byteball.org site (the quiz) that way you can add your own security measures @TonyCh

Otherwise - quit worrying about cheaters because there will be somebody always here to try and exploit any system. No matter what kind of distribution technique you use, somebody is going to try and find a way to exploit that and claim more then they are allowed. Obviously they can't with a drop to BTC holders but you've stopped that.
there is not doubt in that absolutely you can have portable telegram accounts and you don't need to sign in at all you want to buy i can sell it for you but my ones are not 1000 for $37 the more expensive than that, you probably talking about mobile telegram i am talking about desktop telegram

Sure. And how do you suppose I login to the desktop telegram accounts? They require a phone number to login - if you login new location a code is sent to the telegram accounts chat

On my mobile wallet, I checked chat > Bot Store > SilentNotary ICO

I was surprised seeing that the ICO is active until 15 March 2018 only which I knew to be until April. I double checked it on Silent Notary website plus telegram and the ICO is still on going, confirmed to end on April 12th. Therefore, it was a mistake in the Byteball wallet.

Just letting you know.  ~

snip
Hello guy,

I have small recommendation, which might be useful for your and for forum users, for you. Your thread is annoying one due to you over-quoted in the thread.
Next time, you should delete all unnecessary stuffs, which you don't really want to quote them, just let them in the thread due to you were a little bit lazy.
If you don't know how to do it, please look at my attached images.
Deleting all stuffs that are highlighted from first image to second image
The first

The second

Then put snip in between quote for the last thread which you would like to discuss with, before writing your thread.

Best regards,

Annoying? I find that very normal in altcoin section. This is a public forum and not everyone care about it. Some people just quote and reply without even trying to make it looks good. Anyway the discussion in this thread is among members however important news can be find in the OP so people could still easily find it

Agree! It is normal, popular in altcoin child boards, but it is really annoying
Annoying? I find that very normal in altcoin section.

Wrong! I think lots of users don't like it. They just don't show their ideas. You are Hero, so I guess you can see the fact that in Meta boards and other serious boards, there are less annoying (just let I called like this) threads. Honestly, do you agree with me that you feel better when reading threads in those boards?
This is a public forum and not everyone care about it. Some people just quote and reply without even trying to make it looks good.

No need to do this, but it's will be easier th find important, constructive threads if spammers stop making shitty posts most of the time, don't over-quote all the time.
Anyway the discussion in this thread is among members however important news can be find in the OP so people could still easily find it

That's the least of my concern.

good job you're not a campaign manager then. it's not their job to get sentimental about things. it's their job to select posters who won't be a total disgrace to what they're representing and spread the word.

and those posters should be people who are all over the forum. a byteball sig in a byteball thread is an absolute waste of money.

The Byteball is highly ambitious project that hold vast promise and even considering as a new Blockchain Alternative (as this article says: https://perfectial.com/blog/dag-vs-blockchain/). But technology it's using is still very young and untested, however, and in my opinion, there’s still a lot of improving to do.

Byteball allows anybody to upload arbitrary data (like docs, pdf, pictures or whatever) on the dag chain which makes it permanently part of the database stored by all full nodes. Now - what if somebody posts criminal stuff like child porn or something and suddenly all full nodes will store this shit forever? I think we need some safeguards against such abuse. Maybe only real ID verified users should be allowed to upload data? Any ideas or thoughts on this? How to ensure legality without censorship?
