Now we have flight delay insurance bot.  It's already added to the Bot Store.

...

Users can buy insurance in easy to use chat interface.  They don't need to find a peer, the bot is the peer that is available 24/7.  The insurance is a smart contract, hence you don't need to trust the bot.  It is almost the same contract that you can do peer-to-peer but it is composed automatically, users need only to check the contract before paying.  The bot also reminds users when to unlock the contract.

The quotes are based on real stats provided by flightstats.com, so they vary by delay, airline, and flight.  The bot adds 5% profit margin above the probability of delay derived from the stats.

The source code is at https://github.com/byteball/flight-delays-insurance, you can use it as template for your own bots.
Who are the peers? Sounds something like gamlbing, tonych?
Are there chances to see those potential peers are airplane companies' owners?

i would like to know aswell, this information. sounds like a good and easy insurance

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

GBYTE wallet already on Maintenance status ("27-04-18 investigating Deposit issues"). Maybe and hopefully the problem will be sorted out after this investigation. Unlike in other exchanges, the deposit issue seems to occur frequently in Cryptopia, so imo it's better to make it the last option to use for GBYTE.
Do you know how long it takes for cryptopia to fix these kind of issues ?

Looking beyond something is fine, but one must focus on something that he already has.

I have also lost my bytes in the shitty Cryptopia exchange, so I highly recommend to stay away from this one.
In my experience, if you can not verify your account in Bittrex, cryptox.pl exchange might be a good substitution for the case of Byteball.
I deposited and withdrawned coins in the one without any issues.
How did you lost your byteball in cryptopia? I've deposited byteball in that exchange but unfortunately, it doesnt show in my accout. I opened a ticket and that's why byteball is under maintenance right now.

Oh no man, again Cryptopia having troubles with Byteball. What the hell! This time I must say I'm happy I got my funds out of it and I actually started using those trading bots we have in app. Better trade small and safe that having our funds locked.
Did you also have the same experience as I did? How long till they fixed the issue with byteball during your time?
See for yourself at the following link, I don't know if it's the same thing or not but this does not look good on their end

it is just my own experience, I don't think over quoting is good when joining discussions. Because doing this will contribute to make your threads become more messy, and a bit harder to understand ideas flow and which specific threads/ ideas you want to discuss.
Only quote what you want to discuss, delete all the rest which you don't use, don't want to discuss with.

Can someone please share some info about those NBT or NiceBytes we received in our wallet lately: how do they work? Who is the issuer?
You know, it would be good to have an idea on what they are good for

In case you haven't looked for/found the announcement thread of Nicebytes, here it is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3428403. You will surely find out something by reading the first post and the white paper.

And the Byteball ecosystem keeps on growing... Frankly, you must be nuts to sell your GBYTE and of course GBBYTE. Soon, Byteball will be known all over for the ease of use and cheap transactions.

Byteball may be the future, but the current investors are failing to recognize so. The tech still needs a lot of development and support by investors. The price has not seen appreciation as it should have.

Also I am so worried to see that no one in the community really cares about cryptopia holding up bytebal deposits. This makes me wonder if even there is a community backing up the balls or not. Activities are hardly seem in chats, this coins needs advertising by its owners and a lot of pumping to bring it into limelight so that people can see the coin. Its constantly shifting down the coin market cap list.

You only need to change your username for a moment. Right after you’ve linked up with the Bot you can change it back to your old username. Don’t forget to use the ‚changename‘ command to tell the Bot what your current username is!
