The value of bitcoin will be in the peak of it continues to survive even after 20years. We cannot give assurance that the bitcoin will be under usage because it has got limitations in the mining process as well it's a decentralized network. What we can do is expect something good to take place.

Into 20 years i believe bitcoin value will be over 10000 dollars, and in those time all countries will consider it a legal currencie or store of value, people will moove most of their savings into bitcoin expecting better results, soo i do see banks providing services with bitcoin, and you can use bitcoin anywhere.
i think it is very early to predict about the price of bitcoin. we cannot predict about the price of bitcoin 20 years before. but we can only hope that after 20 years the price of bitcoin will certainly be trading more high as compare to the preset price of bitcoin. |

in my opinion, in 20 years either bitcoin will become a giant virtual money or it will be destroyed. but in recent activities shows me a great hope to be an optimist about the bright future.
No, it will not be destroyed. Bitcoin 20 years from now will be a great currency and it is not going to be destroyed because many people are going to get into bitcoin. In 20 years, Bitcoin will either be mainstream with astronomical value and accepted everywhere or maybe be dead, perhaps because it has been banned by some major countries or simply because of some technical problem impossible to fix.
The truth is that it is impossible to predict 20 years ahead. Anyone who has faith in Bitcoin will hold their coins and maybe be rewarded.

In 20 years if we each keep a couple of bitcoins we will all be really rich.  can't wait. So be wise and save today !! Maybe you won't be flithy rich if you can't save enough but you can still have a bit then your life will be much better. Best investment ever. The problem is most people are so greedy and can't wait. Rather look to the future then just living for today. |

We are now experiencing the efficient, fast and amazing convergence of technologies which one way or the other greatly contributing to the rise of the cryptocurrencies and making Bitcoin as the King of the Hill so far.
Looking into the future...what do you think will be the scenario involving Bitcoin twenty years from now? Will Bitcoin be worth more than a million or will it ceased to exist? Or will a new crytocurrency replace the supremacy of Bitcoin...?
There are 100 threads with the same topic here. You should search and read before asking this. Nobody can predict the future after 20 years. Bitcoin might dissapear or might become stronger. I don't mind this topic and many repeat topics coming up often, because I like to read current opinions given the current status of BTC and news. It is fun to discuss and predict based on what we are seeing now rather than a month or a year ago. |

Agree with you bro, I think also after 20 years bitcoin can buy anything in online store even the supermarket and offline store accpet bitcoin as payment. And I think all of country are accept bitcoin and adapt this coin. But I dont think all people in the world use bitcoin because why those people cant afford to buy cellphone and they dont have internet connection for sure even they know bitcoin it cannot use it. But everything have possible to happen and I hope the future of bitcoin after 20 years are good news . |

Bitcoin will survive to those years because that is very for bitcoin if the support will continue, the community and also the investors who are maintaining the market is one of the requirement for bitcoin to stay for that long and i don't have any doubt that bitcoin will become the biggest cryptocurrency after 20 years from now. |

Bitcoin will survive to those years because that is very for bitcoin if the support will continue, the community and also the investors who are maintaining the market is one of the requirement for bitcoin to stay for that long and i don't have any doubt that bitcoin will become the biggest cryptocurrency after 20 years from now. That is a bold statement for something we really don't know what will happen to it in the coming years much more for a term like 20 years. With 20 years many thing could happen and right now there are still many issues for Bitcoin to solve at for example the rising number of unconfirmed transaction and how much time it would take to confirm. Its not an issue of demand but the volume of transactions happening daily. What I mean is in order for Bitcoin to survive for the next 20 years it needs to improve right now. |

Yes bitcoin will become one and only dominant digital currency in future but it will be use in compliment with other crypto. Just like we need only gold reserve and not original gold in circulation. Similarly nations will keep bitcoin reserve to support their national digital currency. |

That is something we all want to be like on some altcoin like LTC for example with low fee and fast transaction time, no big secret this is.
