in my opinion, in 20 years either bitcoin will become a giant virtual money or it will be destroyed. but in recent activities shows me a great hope to be an optimist about the bright future.
No, it will not be destroyed. Bitcoin 20 years from now will be a great currency and it is not going to be destroyed because many people are going to get into bitcoin. And they are going to be attracted to invest in bitcoin because of the price increase that they see on it. Bitcoin will be famous and well known by that year. It is very difficult to predict anything with any currency for such a long time. In any case, there are only two options: either he will survive, or he will die. Yes I agree there could be reasons for the bitcoin to die or to survive. The reasons for the survival will be certain but those of which the Bitcoin will die will be some uncertain situations. There may be many reasons for it to vanish the BTC but it will not happen when the world be in a normal situation. On positive side, all the world countries would adopt bitcoin in next 20 years like Japan initiated that move this years hence 20 years will be more than enough for rest of world countries to follow it. |

if bitcoin survives next 20 years, then i just hope it reaches around 100k - 1mil per bitcoin  offcourse i can be wrong though. i would like to see avg, bitcoin ytansaction time lowered down to 5 seconds or something simmilar. instead of current times. I hope too, it would be a dream come true to 99% of this forum I think. Well but the dream has to be realistic, it's not just about predicting 100k$ or 1mil$ , it has to at least make economic and mathematical sense. We all hope for the best but I don't think we will ever get to 100k$ per coin in 20 or 50 years. It is likely to attain equilibrium or stability perhaps around the 10k that is if we ever get there. |

I guess That after 2 years Btc will Rip  Bitcoin is alive years from now, it dumped, it pumped, people said bitcoin was dead, but it is not. As Satoshi Nakamoto said, after 20 years, there will be volune of transaction, or not. I think there will be volume of transaction, I mean a lot of transaction because bitcoin that time has high price with fast transaction, I just hope so. 2 years is not enough to stop bitcoin, you may need a century. |

Well yeah I believe that 20 years are too much to say anything about the Bitcoin. Don’t even know what will happen to the world in 20 years, but if the other things remain the same I see a very pragmatic future of the Bitcoin. It will leave many things far away. It might be a time when people will be struggling to collect some of the satoshis to become wealthy. |

Well yeah I believe that 20 years are too much to say anything about the Bitcoin. Don’t even know what will happen to the world in 20 years, but if the other things remain the same I see a very pragmatic future of the Bitcoin. It will leave many things far away. It might be a time when people will be struggling to collect some of the satoshis to become wealthy. yes it is not such an easy job to predict about the price of bitcoin, before 20 years. As 20 years is a long long time and i do not think that even the expert people can give any prediction about the price of bitcoin. but we can only hope that even after 20 years the price of bitcoin will be too good, people will still putting money on bitcoin for investment. |

in 20 years, I think bitcoin would already be in a very high status, probably regarded as the main currency to be used internationally rather than the local currencies used as world-wide currencies (USD and EUR), At that time I think the fact it's mainly electronic would matter at that time.

We already have trouble predicting the price over a period of a week, I imagine that no one knows for sure what can happen in 20 years, but knowing that it is enough time for five halvings, combined with an increasing ecosystem growth, I think that there are great chances of a prosperous future for the currency.

For bitcoin, 20 years is an eternity. I do not think that someone can predict the future for twenty years ahead. Bitcoin is very unpredictable. Maybe people will accept it in the future, or maybe it will remain an alternative currency |

on next 20 years , bitcoin will be a blast , its worth more than gold haha , i think its possible to btc as main currency to the world , but there is a cons , if criminal use btc it will cant be traced ,,, so i think might be impossible for using it as main currency , on the other hand bitcoin also one of the best investing program because pump and dump always works well and quite profitable for investor , my prediction on next 20 year is btc worth more than a million dollar  |

Till that time I am pretty sure that all of the countries of the world have legalized bitcoins and they will use bitcoin for their all of the needs and the banks will also regulate bitcoin in their country and internationally without any restriction so it means that the value will touch the sky. |

I guess there will be thousands of billionaires and for the millionaires there will a lot of younger generations that will become on that point because of bitcoin. For sure a lot of us will have 100 bitcoins on their wallet or even more this is an average holder quantity of bitcoin for each person that started to earn with bitcoin today. |
