Just Checked my order history with KNC, and it is now officially changed to 3TH Jupiter instead of Neptunes. It is happening.
Yes its really happening you can now buy a 3 TH Jupiter for what you would get 4TH from most anyone else.
Antminer, Cointerra etc and all you had to do was wait for KNC to fall on their faces and/or buy too many Jupiter modules to fit in their data center.
You are buying their crumbs.
Joe, it is what it is. I have done well with KNC, and all this for me is really added bonuses, especially since I didn't consider the overclocking that padrino mentioned.

You are getting 18 Jupiter Modules (166gh each) are they new Modules? If so how much more do you expect to overclock out of them?
2nd batch (November) were the same chips no? So isn't 166gh per chip the top end already?
I could be wrong but you may want to double check your math.

Extrapolating from my November Jupiter, which uses 820W at wall using Platinum PSU to provide 760GH/s (190GH/s per board overclocked to 1000MHz) - so 18 boards = 3420GH/s @ 3690W.
Personally I would go with 4 x 1000W PSUs, but 3 x 1250W should be possible if you like running close to the wind.  Smiley

3TH gets you between 3.5 and 4 BTC a month (first month) you guys in the $10k club need 22 BTC just to get to zero

Math does not work when the diff is doubling every 35 to 40 days

Best of luck to all

so essentially we have to choose between six 'frankenjups' which will be god knows how much in import fees... or we continue to wait like muppets for the JUNE cloudhashing....

Or swap it for a 'Titan'

if this isnt forced 'coercion' i dunno what is... I feel pressurised!

quick 'mods' - delete this one as well.

Yeah the mods are on a frenzy lately.

And to keep my post on topic... there are no import fees for the US.

forget KnC hardware and forget the datorhall... WTF?...
YOU CAN HAVE YOUR OWN FARM
astounding... to think, if enough people buy into this, hashrate is gonna spread. collectively we could put that knc d/c in the lower echelons of mining farms.
i'm off to the bank, it's my duty.

yeah glad  i punted for a Titan (yeah i know stupid..before IRS ruling...but i like to mine) ..hopefully i can run that beast for more then a year on some kinda sh*tcoin
to get ROI

anyway off topic for here...but here is how I managed to follow the IRS guidelines according to my Tax Lady CPA
I'm out 550 bucks from my now amended 2013 tax return..but hey...the basis are covered and starting it as a 'new
business" gave me some perks...anyway if this drags on (fix the IRS ruling) into next fall (due to elections) I at least
can sell coin should I choose w/o any issues on how legit I 'is' or the coin 'is' or whatever.

link to the details are below:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=562843.msg6136935#msg6136935

anyway irregardless a Neptune in JUNE would not help me much fighting all the GH dropping out of the sky (and other Neptune)
and KNC itself. imho...so....Titan was likely a mistake ..but hey its only money right?

again wonder what next week is gonna bring.....in BTC land.....its like a 'frigging" episode of "LOST" lately..

I've conducted further tests and can now verify that a knc Frankenjup can be powered by a 5 foot tesla coil, (rather than the 13 foot tesla coil I suggested yesterday, that the mods accidentally deleted).

It hashes quite nicely at 3.2TH with mild overclocking, although the smell of ozone and nitrogen oxides means it can only be set up in a building with open ventilation, such as a garage, out-house or abandoned church ruins.

If you need to bring it indoors, then 6x650w Corsair psu's would certainly be a good choice cost-wise, as you'll need 3x 6pin connectors for each of Frankenjups 6 "limbs", i.e. of dead villagers 3x jupiter boards.

If anyone needs any more help or technical advice on this, please feel free to ask. Having had a number of jupiter boards with die0 issues, I have a good deal of experience reanimating the dead.
