When you guys say bonus miner do you mean the free one you got for every 10 bought or do you mean the 2 for 1 bonus miner?

I got my bonus 1 miner for the 10 I bought but I have never gotten the extra 10 bonus miners.

I have emailed them a few times and they said they are still shipping batch 3 and they will ship the 2 for 1 miners after that.

I do not believe them.

No when the neptunes were 6 months late, they tricked us into keeping our order by offering 2 for 1. Getting a refund probably wouldn't have happened anyway so we took the offer.

Actually a day before delivery they again tried to trick us into getting free cloud mining until they delivered, but it forfeited your bonus neptune. And get this, they knew they'd ship it next day June 30th so your free cloud mining would only last a day and you lost the free bonus.

Now this deserves a firing squad, not them bragging on video of their warehouse full of OUR miners.

By all accounts, that would be too kind !

Still awaiting bonus Neptune from scammers knc

They better hurry up.  With the sp20 out  and  bitmain  s5 next  week is making  them less competitive on price and value.

Competitive in what?
Selling HW that will never ROI?
I doubt the competition is much better.

That is a loose/loose game with the current BTC price.

The nep 'nets'  about $150/mo. after electricity.
(between 20-30 days per BTC)
IF everything were static 66 months to pay for itself.

The diff has actually been flat for a month.

A bonus miner delivered today would bring that down to around 33 months (almost 3 years)
Assuming the price does not decline further.

It looks like the knc viking ban hammer mods have a holiday, that has been up for a day already.
Else they quit, not paid? or the job sux? or both?

If it is as it appears, soon their payroll will get a shave.
I have seen the 'dance of desperate suits' before, it's part of the game plan.

I'm just glad that I chose to sue KNC instead of accepting the shipment and paying another 2000$ for the customs .. the titan does 300$/today which is freaking sad.

"300$/today"?!

Am I misunderstanding this or did you just say that Titan earns $300 per day? That's a positive ROI in 5 or 6 weeks!!

Why is anyone complaining then? If this is true, I'll be hitting eBay and buying up every Titan for sale.

Double check the numbers, maybe 1/40 of that number...

~ $15/day on LTC

check coinwarz.com, select scrypt and plug in ~ 330-350 Mh/s

Well that's more like it! Then WTF did mishax1 mean in his post?

omg I meant to say 300$/month today (today's stats)...

Why would you think KNC is hurting financially? They're still +8% of the total network hashrate. Selling hardware and customer care are no longer part of their operation. They're just a mining operation now and i bet they're doing just fine, lol.

Lol, that makes much more sense! The $10k Titan makes even less per month than my 2 group-buy SP20s and they only cost $1,000. Ouch.

Ouch indeed ! The dramatic collapse in scrypt coin prices and the extended slump in the bitcoin/usd pair exceeded even my pessimistic worst case analysis at the time I purchased my Titan.

However, i think the Titan will ROI eventually, whereas the chance of a SP20 ROI'ing are virtually Nil unless you steal your electricity. This Easter when your SP20s are most likely making 25 cents - $1 a day the Titan will still be pulling down ~ $15/day.

Lol I agree with Tolip. These guys are hurting bad. Percentage of the network is not a measure of profitability.

Anyone over clocked the Titan beyond the 325 MHz ?

that may be good to know I for example have 1 cube that runs COOLER then all my other cubes
dc/dc wise etc at 325 stable and has the fastest results of all my dies/cubes

I figure if there was a setting for 350 it probably could pull it off (the other dies/cubes/etc er...not so much)

Thats what I was thinking as well. My cubes are properly cooled  and can be pushed some more. Just want to try squeeze as much out of these before they become paper weight

What power are they pulling w/gh?

Naw, they are not hurting. Remember they are only about 1.5 years old and have raked in multi millions.

They have to push money back to the vulture capitalists who invested in them - this is where the money is going. Their finances probably look awesome on paper.

You guys with your lawsuits are just a "legacy" issue they can't be bothered to deal with. Even their PR clown won't speak to the press about kfc being sued, showing it's totally unimportant to what they do these days.

TL/DR - don't feeling sorry for these cunts - they are stinking rich. You are not their priority, they could careless if they owe you some hardware or cash. What are a bunch of wimpy nerds hiding behind their keyboard going to do to a company turning over millions each month  Cheesy Grin

Not sure about that but I think the guys on the www.kncminer.com forum have been out party'ing and/or looking for a new job with the shut down
of the consumer operation after the last Titan hits the street (including bonus for those who chose that option rather then the bonus neptune) at that
point in time imho they will announce free 6 month 3Th has miners on their arctic cloud network (ie no physical miners they are gonna keep those) in lieu of
the 'free neptune' offer ...and they will say hey it is free lump it or leave it

then all of the consumer operation will shut down and no tech support as such ....(like there is any now) no sales/no consumer info on the site..ie they have
gone comercial and data hall at that point

thus my point the current folk at knc proper are not gonna shift to the iceland or whatever data hall so jobs will be lost (no need for shipping as an example)

so anyway looks to me like they are wrapping thing up already.....no firmware commits on git hub since dec 2nd and 1.95 ..have had NO firmware updates from
what the neptune owners have said in like 'forever' and the scrypt N they promised is 'done' although not much use

yep imho they are wrapping things up and moving out and away from us as fast as possible....big IPO money to court .....why deal with 'gasp' customers (yech)

with no refunds on the Titan and only their promise on what kinda Neptune bonus pkg people will get (probably eventually) they are free and clear in their own
minds (imho) to wander away no strings attached to bigger and fatter cash cows to slaughter (getty up IPO $$$) then us nickel and dime consumers

but then again as I have said before my Titan DOES make a pretty nifty space heater this winter ....... they gave us that as a bonus (and probably a cute doorstop here soon)

Any good pool for Titan
.?

I use www.litecoinpool.org (yeah laugh i have no idea if this is a good idea hoarding LTC at this point of not) it pays fixed 105% has no fee (i think if i remember right) and
at least for my 2 dead die 305mh is stable no issues like other pools i've tried..at that 305mh speed I mine 5.95 LTC a day and looks like a 2% drop in 2 hrs so likely that will
stay that way for a bit

as to multipools most (at least the ones i saw) seem to be 80% LTC anyway with a 2% fee and such so heck they gave me imho a stable LTC miner so I guess I'm a
stable LTC miner such as it were...so anyway what i'm doing now

will be swayed by other options but pretty much screwed with this Titan on all fronts ....last thing i want it to do is dork out like it did on mining up till firmware v1.15 or
so ...If I really an't gonna make enough money to make a difference...last thing i want to do is babysit or dork with it...as such www.litecoinpool.org so far fits my needs
(again feel free to give me other options just saying)

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Yeah litecoinpool does seem the best 'set it and forget it' option for Titan owners. Apart from the occasional foray into flash in the pan solo mining opportunities, how much time can a fella spend babysitting these things trying to eek out an extra couple of dollars a day ?

Solo mining misc alts via nomp and coin daemons was always an option but not really worth the time except in rare circumstances.

IMO Titan owners are in a 'grin and bear it' long game and it could be several years before we break even. If we break even.

@ Avenger

Why do you hang around here?
Do you own any mining HW?
EDIT
Serious questions above ^^^not rhetorical.

As far as I can tell you are anti-capitalist.
BTC is PURE capitalism.

The good, the bad, and the ugly.

You are(or were) one of the most prolific anti-anything knc kbd nerds here.
(not necessarily a bad thing!)
Are you admitting defeat?
It seems to me like the demise of knc is/was your goal.

I think HOW the refund momentum was dealt with,
along with the 5 cube decision injured them massively.
They could be producing > 20% more BTC from their investment if they had gone 4 cubes per Nep.
I think BTC @ 299 USD is the crushing blow.
ALL miners bet long on the price of the commodity.
All large mining operations of any commodity hurt financially when the price drops 50% in 6 months.
The larger they are the farther into the future they must make decisions.
BTC _IS_ kinda intangible, but it is not magic.

I don't trust their claims of success with the DC just like I don't believe there are any satisfied 20nm HW customers.
How do you choose to believe one thing and not the other?

No such thing as "to big to fail".
Fail they do, even if they are later bailed out it never erases the fail.

YMMV

Today you can get miners for $1000 that generate $10/day, ROI in 100 days. Crypto isn't dead. KNC is just a horrible company.
