It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Oh, but this is fun! Ah, got it, so you're in here for the comedy? Not exactly. Entertainment, diversion, yes. My 'real' life is a mess, and this is at least interesting. As someone above noted, I got no skin in the game. I'm not trying to disparage anyone, I'm just having fun watching. I actually hope they make it. I like this company, and so far most of the people in this race have been informative, and pretty friendly. Even when I was being a bit over the top. A few not so much, but for internet fora? This is definitely one of the better ones. I've run into people on here that could make me feel stupid, but instead they were helpful. Every forum has it's trolls and morons, but not all of 'em have cool people. This one does. For comedy, I watch BFL.

...The supply is not going to change, the distribution is the only thing that changes... As for the mining Alt-coins with it, read up. There's plenty of people using their ASIC's to mine SHA clones... Remember... the hash is nothing more than mathematical calculations , if the numbers that are fed into the machine utilize the same algorithm, then the numbers it spits out can apply to any of them.. https://forums.butterflylabs.com/jalapeno-single-sc-support/3678-mining-altcoins-bfl-miners.htmlNice link. Confirms what I thought (jalapeno's being used on alts now). As for speculation, some of us have a life and don't want to have to plough through 100's of pages of FUD. If you want to gossip, set up a new thread "My life is empty, I've got nothing else to do, so I want to speculate about KNC" and go crazy. This thread is KNC hardware discussion, keep it on track. And what I thought was interesting about Sam's interview was the statement "We're selling to the general public". Not what their t&c's say! Surely if a company makes public statements like this, they eventually have to stick by them and we get 2 years consumer warranty on the miners, not the cut down 1 year "we only sell to businesses" one?

Meanwhile...
Avalon turns One years old What a roller coaster ride it has been
We went from the last to enter the ASIC mining market crowd-funded by the community to the first to shipping a consumer product in little over 4 month. On this journey, many mistakes were made, tons of things were learned and we will continue to grow as one of the groups to keep mining decentralized and support the DIY community. Those are our goals.
In the up coming week we will doing a clearance sale on the refunded chips as well as some mining units and modules to close generation one and move on to a pre-sale-less generat You sir are a troll

Also interesting was that we wouldn't ship a machine if we didn't think our customers wouldn't make roi We want them to make as much as we do on each miner and then at the end he says we HOPE all our customers make back their investment. They have in fact failed already as the promise always was to have miners in customers hands IN September. They needed to arrive this week at the latest to give any chance of roi. Yes it was a gamble on our part and no one expected the difficulty to rise to the current levels before most of the major players have even shipped. maybe btc will hit $500 before Christmas

Bitcoinorama has been surprisingly quiet. If things go as he stated, we should have a video of a hashing machine posted later today or tomorrow.

Noticed how BFL have suddenly picked up shipments the last couple of weeks, they have been shipping about 2 weeks worth of 50-60GH/s Single SC orders each day. That's a lot of GH/s they had thousands of those on pre-order. That will be a big part of the net hash increase we had this month, add KNCminer to that and omg.

think he said he was flying out today. Its sad that we have to rely on a forum member for news though at this stage of the game.

This thread is KNC hardware discussion, keep it on track.
But there's nothing left to discuss about hardware (for now anyway until they ship). So what's left to discuss is about possible delays/shipment now.

The amount of whine in this thread is amazing. KnC is always making statements then "correcting" them. They're full of shit, just read the bloody thread (or the first 60 pages) already. You'll get your miners, they're not THAT kind of scam. Sam Cole just loves to run his mouth, don't take what he says at face value. Shipping in September = in customers' hands in September = in the datacenter in September (for hosted customers) = in BTC-orama(i)'s hands in September (he's a customer right? right?).

KNC were probably optimistic about delivery in Sept but hey, delays happen. They rely on third party after all and yeah, things can go wrong.
Foundry slow, customs, packaging slow.... etc
I wouldn't label them a scam. They seem pretty legit thus far.
And yes, orama is a customer.

Margins within margins, remember? That's cutting is so close I expect BTC-orama to be the "customer". The rest of you will probably be in early October. The fact that you receive anything is already good news. They're flying pretty blind, remember? I wouldn't label them a scam. They seem pretty legit thus far.
And yes, orama is a customer.
I was being sarcastic. I'm trolling this thread remember? Nothing I say is true because I have no skin in this game, yada yada. Whineorama's words.

Per mota's clarification, "delivery" means "starting to think about shipping." Thank you mota. I would also like to add that the legal term "customers," in given context, refers to "guy setting up the pick & place machine in China," while "September" is the anglicized spelling of "Söptöämböär," a Swedish word with no fixed meaning, used primarily as an expletive. Further, while there are twenty-seven Swedish words referencing March, the concept of September is notably absent in Sweden. Cultural Diversity. The Moar U Kno.

... I hate to break it to you, but September delivery and Shipping in September mean basically the same thing. "Delivery" is per definition the act of transporting letters or goods to a predefined point/person - shipment is the act or an instance of shipping goods. It is NOT the same as you getting your order in September.
I see. So if i just had a letter delivered to me, that means someone just dropped it in the mail, and i should be expecting delivery soo.. wait. Where do you get this ridiculous stuff? Is this a German thing? Sauce pl0x. As a German, let me be a grammar nazi for once Delivery: The act of transferring to another. The act of conveying or delivering. Deliver someone or something to someone or something: to transfer someone or something to someone or something Shipping: transporting cargo by any means Delivered is past tense of the verb to deliver - It means the process of delivering is over. Don't argue when a non native speaker knows your language better than you.
