2 more hours to complete 4 more units that belong to specific users (possible, HIGHLY UNLIKLYE THOUGH) Also, does their demo unit count or not? I would say it wouldnt unless the customer is there to pickup.

Let's cool down.. I came here to ruin the fun. Bitfury chips are 55nm and do <0.7 W/Gh. KNCMiner chips are reportedly >1.4W/Gh.
I'm just wondering as I really have no idea, how much would an equivalent miner (in terms of GH/s) from Bitfury cost?

Cue Bitcoinorama being handed a machine and photos. You think the only reason he is there is because he has an iphone?

Ever thought of rotating the camera 90 degrees? Ever thought I don't care? Took the video in the same amount of takes it took to create a 28nm structured ASIC Bitcoin Miner!...One!!

KNCminer probably don't care about the bets, they just want to demonstrate a working unit by the end of September and start the production line to show how hopeless BFL and Avalon are.

KnC, 500 GH/s, $4995, delivered in Nov. It'll be a few months before the energy costs become significant, so they're pretty close in value.

It's obvious you didn't care that's why I mentioned it being one that does care. I do appreciate that you took a video anyway.

It might have peaked at 596, but the sustained speed looks like it's going to be more like 500. I'm ok with 500, especially if they ship out my order within the next week!
I'm more concerned about power at the wall though. KNC seems like its going to be the most power hungry of all the gen 2 ASIC miners.

I called to congratulate and ask about it. They are still at factory and all. I don't think I will get my miner before midnight GMT. Maybe some hosted people get it and it counts? Orama? Have no idea. did they specify Oct 1st where? Hosted units must count, they're delivered where they're going... I would also expect "shipped" to count if they get the unit picked up by the carrier as verified by a tracking number. Would resolve when the package arrives as advertised.

i guess those guys know their chip. when they announce 576+ then you can bet that they have a reason for doing so. why should they state 576 an have alot of trouble when everybody would be happy with 500 anyway? doesnt make any sense. so you can bet it will be 576+

Like I keep pointing out the launch video shows an unacceptable massive 19.6% HW errors.
