The account you are looking at belongs to one of the devs it's not a KNCminer test account, they use testnet generally.

They DID say they think it could go beyond 576 Gh/s but I'm guessing this would be PSU dependent as well. They should definitely up the PSU requirements.I think with sufficient cooling and power 650 Gh/s might be possible if the software allows for Jupiter and over 300 Gh/s for Saturn.

No it's Eligius. The stats of the seconds view is always off by far. My 50ghz rig goes sometimes op to 80 and down to 30. My stats of the miner say it's constant. Don't look at the stats of Eligus, yust the graph and look at the stable line

good news then, the stable line went from 400 almost 600 Gh/s this morning Tongue

Genesis knows nothing about what's being released in the next 2 weeks, take it with a grain of salt.

just received KnCMiner newsletter:

All,

We have some very exciting news to share with you all. Over the last few days our teams have relocated to our production facility in Sweden. We have all been working very long hours to make sure everything works as planned. Back in June we started taking pre-orders for ASIC Miners and we have slowly released more details about our specifications. We have taken this approach as we never wanted to disappoint our customers, after all without our customers this would never have been possible.

So it is with great pleasure that we announce another free speed increase to all of our customers. As all of our devices operate with the same chips and boards the speed increase applies to all of our products.
Jupiter has now risen from 400 to over 550. We have a short video for you all to watch on our youtube channel.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=JFOcI8nK2xI'

Full production is being ramped up in the next few hours with 3 production lines having 10 stations each dedicated to making it go as smooth as possible.
We would also like to inform you all that we still have Saturn’s and Jupiter’s available for purchase.

For more information on this please visit:

 https://www.kncminer.com/categories/miners

Thanks again for all of your support over the last few months and we hope to continue to under promise and over deliver.

I think this is mining speculation forum material, not this thread, but just so you are not disappointed: those 148 MM are applied to the whole month by the calculator (it's like an average diff).

KnC Cole on CoinDesk:

“We have 22 stations manned by assembly experts to make sure we can keep on top of the orders and have the boxes ship as soon as possible.

Our engineers have also been working through the night to tune the power consumption and the latest test indicates that we will have a much better result than 1.4 watts at the wall.”

this makes me more confident to use a 850W PSU for a Jupiter.

Why would you not be confident? 850watt is what they recommended, do you think they don't know what they are talking about?

No it doesn't. 91% difficulty increase/month is too low, 100-120% is a more realistic figure. And KNC miners won't start mining at the current difficulty of 148.8M, perhaps a day or two at most for the early birds. Also once KNC miners start hashing you can expect a very steep difficulty ramp up in the next couple of weeks.
