ok, got it...see it...
not exactly the account history page, close enough...

Now do we agree that KNC advertised and still advertise Batch 2 as November shipping? Smiley
YES
I never said they didn't advertise shipping in November, which they did  begin...just like october... which is exactly what I expected, a repeat of past events...
I'm talking about the word used..."Promise"

Which was never stated along with any delivery dates.
I experience the same delays...  as am now...   Cry

Amazing what happens to a person's tone once they have been "comp'd a few October boards"...

Jupiters sell for $27k? Even after over a month of mining?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/KNC-Kncminer-Jupiter-Bitcoin-Miner-with-power-supply-550-GH-s-IN-HAND-USA-/171184969405?pt=US_Heavy_Equipment&hash=item27db6b56bd
holy shit, I am amazed how good of an investment those October preorders were (for those paying with fiat).

Not the shipping story again...I thought we had this one month ago too...

I think I have every right to be upset with them for failing to deliver on the terms they advertised in huge print.

Remember that you also get ~130GH/s more for less than 5 days late? C'mon...

That's not a lot really. Less than a thousand a day. Cointerra has multiple automated assembly lines, whenever they come online they could do 25k a day.

anyway, if all these places were pumping out miners at these capacities it would be wiser to buy shares in electric companies than btc

"less than 5 days late" remains to be seen.

I only meant to make one post about it.  I would have left it at that if I hadn't instantly received a "they never said that" argument.

I'm sure some of you remember BFL_Josh claiming they would produce 400 units per day.

double glad to see that its not gone un-noticed how much he sucks up to KnC depsite their multiple failings.

Free boards DO make a difference.

MUCH EASIER ability to aggressively re-invest....

I never said they didn't advertise shipping in November, which they did  begin...just like october... which is exactly what I expected, a repeat of past events...
I'm talking about the word used..."Promise"
Which was never stated along with any delivery dates.

What do you call this then?

An estimate?  A fantasy?  A wild-assed guess?

I call it a commitment.  One which they advertised and then failed to uphold.

What's the point of making such a statement if it's meaningless?
Because no one makes a fuss and holds them to account?

I did about the 15th Oct, I even had a countdown timer
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=309391

They said on the 15th Nov they were not going to ship on time and hardly anyone complained on this forum. Means nothing to me as I didn't have an order, but can't believe people are so passive.

If no one complains, why should knc care? If it doesn't matter to you, it doesn't matter to them.

Because so few people supported me about 15th Oct deadline, they did it again.

And those with a Q2 neptune, be ready to see Q2 come and go too.

Every time people allow them to be late and don't say anything about it, it set's a new precedent of what they can get away with.

Every time people let them away with not communicating and letting shipping deadlines pass without even a word of explanation to customers, it set's a new precedent of what they can get away with.

tl/dr - knc make bs statements all the time and as hardly anyone holds them to account, so they do it over and over again. People on here let them away with very low standards of accountability, which suits them just fine. You don't make a fuss, they don't give a shit.

Yes we did, but I am amazed at Phoenix, who somehow is misled into thinking that KNC never advertised November shipping.
That was always part of the product title  Roll Eyes

Shipping promises are only promises as long as the date hasn't passed. Then the shipping promise changes retroactively into simply a dream.

I'm sure some of you remember BFL_Josh claiming they would produce 400 units per day.

yeah I was in chat he was replying to me he also assured me April units would ship in August at the latest ...of course I brought up this fact in Sept and told folks to buy form www.kncminer.com ..so I "conservatively" to the best of my knowledge steered 20k to knc (amazing what telling noobs to google search bfl scam can change there mind)

was the 2nd guy banned for life on shoutbox...a whole bunch of others got banned soon after...became a ghost town in Chat over there.
But hey...it sure worked..they cleared the backorder thanksgiving day according to their blog (of course more then 1/2 of their orders we're forced to xfer to the monarch
card stated for jan fat chance of that happening ...by forced update we send you a 'brick' or we give you the option to punt to next gen product) got to keep all that $$$ and develop a card for their new 'cloud hashing service" in jan (convenient no?)

anyway if nothing else learned the BBB and FTC do nothing ......in these circumstances

Just pointing out 20000 a month isn't a lot. Nor is 25k a day on an assembly line. Perspective.
