What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017?

With the current news about btc everyone is having high hopes and even government organization of some countries are turning towards btc.

we have came across half of 2017. Now it is August. 2017 is the one of the most important year for bitcoin.Hard forked have happened recently. Btc value have reached to 3000$ at the beginning of the year it was 1000$. So as 4 months left for the year we could see the btc is going to the more positive direction.

As we enter 2017, Bitcoin begins with a fresh start making it worth nearly $1000 per coin. Users, banks, and even governments are becoming more interested into Bitcoin, and its underlying technology called the Blockchain.

Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017?

If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think? 

Well it has been a great progress for bitcoin. Its august now and from $1000 it rose up to $3100+ now. Bitcoin became so efficiently working for everyone. We even passed the aug 1 issue with bitcoin not decreasing its value but rather it increased. If it goes well about the connections of bitcoin in the outside world we can achieved more and do more with bitcoins. This breaks the block for bitcoin progress and non stop oportunities for bitcoin. In the near future bitcoins might be considered as an official currency in the real world and it will be healthy for its value. The crisis in currency exchange may be diminished and a lot more will happen. I just hope it will be positively consistent for this 2017

I guess that's because the number of bitcoin transactions and blockchain-based technology projects growing and gaining much support. If  the popularity of bitcoin is increase the price will following. Probably bitcoin prices can reach $4000 in December 2017.

Now with the fork, all my attention has gone towards seeing if both blockchains are going to be here for the long haul.
I have this feeling that Bitcoin is going to be here to stay as more of a storage of value, and Bitcoin Cash may come in for the day to day transactions and smaller purchases.
I'm not sure how the fees are in comparison to one another, but this seems like a way that both could flourish.   

I do have the same opinion as yours,i am yet to transfer my BCH so i am not sure about the fees but one thing i noticed is that the transaction fees of bitcoin has come down and now you could get your conformation within minutes even with a very low fees of 0.0001 btc ,26.81 sat/B ,like in the old days. just made this transaction to know how things work after the fork and it worked perfectly.

I think that bitcoin has come over a long way. I mean we all now how much popular was bitcoin few years before, and where it is now. We all know how much was it worth, and look at it now. Time pass and bitcoin grows more and more, in price and popularity. 2017. was bumpy if you ask me, there were some things that i gladly accept and there are those that i feared. But in the end everything is going to be good.

Bitcoin has mastered a few challanges in 2017, and that makes me believe in a bright future of it.
Segwit will activate soon, the fork has passed with nearly no damage, and the mainstream news about bitcoin have turned into neutral, sometimes even positive.
I think we are on a good path to see bitcoin prosper in the coming time.
Not only in 2017, I mean in the coming years.

No other one will be in it's way as the value has shown this and even a split of it's own blockchain could not stop it's progress.

yes, i also think that price range will rise and rise.  I hope that bitcoin can be last in more years. Hopelly bitcoin cannot be die and the price will be at normal like this year.

Yeah. Bitcoin has increased in price over the course of this year, and I believe that it will continue to do so for the long term. It has reached the $3,000 mark already and it may go as far as $5,000 per coin by the end of the year.

With this uptrend in value, more people would join in Bitcoin, and will make it harder from becoming dead anytime soon. All of this will contribute towards making Bitcoin survive for many years to come. Imagine if by the next halving, Bitcoin would've risen up to $10,000 in value.

It would certainly be a profitable journey for those who hold on to their Bitcoins for the long term. Just my thoughts

For a 12 year old to be a millionaire that is really something, yeah sure bitcoin can change someone be it can br for the better or for worse but mostly if you become a millionaire with bitcoin it's not just about the earnings that changed you but it is more of that you have changed as an individual. as the numbers grow the knowledge on how to handle that numbers grow as well.

Since birth if bitcoin with 50$ and now with 3351$.It's value is changed due to the trust in price of bitcoin. Now many invested on bitcoin. Even me.At recently I had brought some bitcoin only this rate change of the bitcoin daily.My options is 4500$.Many miracle may occur

Even if you started with bitcoin by today means after 3 years you are the millionaire or billionaire. But will happen only if you inverse in bitcoin blindly and sell that once the price reaches the moon.Actually now the price of bitcoin is already in moon.

yes we are around $4000 in 2017 but I did not get your point about the news come from India, can you explain this? As far as I know bitcoin’s price never depend on a single country economy or the users of single country, it is running globally and balance every time with respect to all of its users like the price will never drop or high for some unique country it happens for all users.
