According to current state, platform will be launched in February 2018.

Tezos has working testnet that devs can work on and it’s been running for sometime now,there is a lot of FUD going around at moment but most is un substantiated,anyone looking for information about Tezos project should come over to Riot channel where Arthur posts regularly,there is no need to worry Tezos is moving forward and 8 weeks delays to a project this size is nothing, would rather have a great blockchain take a bit longer than rush code out the door that’s not ready.

can you share the source of this updates I think you don't know about the statement of SEC there is possibility of refund. There are some legal issues so that is really worry sign for investors.

there is no investigation by SEC regarding Tezos or will there be any refunds,the news groups who printed these articles where discussions from editors of what could happen and had nothing to do with facts or comments from SEC,I believe I shared the source of my information and any questions you might have can be answered by joining Tezos Riot channel,

Smart contract language - OCalm
Updates of the chain without hardforks
Transaction speed at the begining - 1000 tx/s (but i'm not sure)
POS staking

Ethereum also has it's own smart contract language.
There's lot of coins with high transaction speed already
Nothing new in POS staking.

Update without hardfork = softfork? I don't think there'll will be updates in Tezos base protocol without hardfork.

This is definitely interesting project, but still waiting to hear more about those unique features...

I'm not waiting anything unique here, just asked because somebody stated that Tezos will have lots of unique features.
I know what's Ocaml (it's not Ocalm) it's cool but nothing really mind blowing there yet.

To me, this has nothing to do with the product tezos have to offer, it was stated that they will launch in 4 - 6 months time after ICO, February is not far anymore and it's still within the plan.

What is happening around Tezos team

As I found in various publications the team are fighting for their rights instead of concentrating on development of project.

Millions of dollars vested in the project.

Actually the people are expected the launch of mainnet in 4 months after completion of crowdsale but now it was informed that the mainnet will be released in the year 2018.

Why the release is getting delayed ??

What is the progress of Tezos platform till now after crowdsale ??

Please clarify these issues at Earliest.

no just articles speculating worst case scenario,as usual internet is full of FUD and little facts but that seems to be the nature of the beast with crypto these days

Another way to look at this is there is no such thing as bad publicity - everyone will have heard of Tezos by the time it launches and will be watching it. So, when the price pumps that too will make Wallstreet headlines.

If it launches it will be fully functioning, why would buying be risky? this isn't one of those shit tokens that launches some empty shit with future promises to come. The only risk now is it never launches, which no ico buyer can do anything about.

I would disagree about dumping and cheap coins on offer,the incentive to hold and bake your Tezos coins will stop most dumping and most know the possibility of huge returns if there patient,I expect price will be around x5 ICO price when hits exchange
