Learn more now about the mining mechanism of Tezos:
"Bitcoin has mining, Tezos has baking. In Bitcoin, miners compete to publish blocks containing a proof-of-work stamp by repeatedly hashing block headers. In Tezos, block creation is done by bakers. Rather than deriving the right to create a block by finding the solution to a proof-of-work problem, bakers obtain that right when a Tezos token (or rather a roll, see below) they own (or that is delegated to them) is randomly selected to create a block."

Very interesting thing I read about ledger. It says Tezos already has code implemented which enables to store tezzies on ledger, so we can have tezos coins on a ledger Nano S regardless ledger officially supports it or not.

The technical capability of the Tezos team is not inferior to that of EOS, AE. Although the market fever is a bit worse, long-term development is still worth our attention.

Hard to tell at this point in time. EOS will have a big moment very soon when they go live and it's finally possible to verify what they have actually been building all the time.

A genesis block will be proposed by the Tezos Foundation at the betanet launch. To prepare for this, it is imperative that all contributors verify their donation—regardless of size—to confirm that it was received by the Foundation. The Foundation intends to recommend allocations in this proposed genesis block for donations of any size that were received during the fundraiser, but they must appear in the “Check Your Contribution” tool.

Click on the “Check Your Contribution” link below to access the tool and enter the Tezos public key hash that was included on the PDF document you created during the fundraiser. Only use this link and do not enter any other information besides your public key hash. If the donation does not appear when you enter your public key hash, then it will not be included as a recommended allocation in the genesis block proposed by the Foundation unless you take additional steps to make sure it is included. Further information is given on the linked page.

I'm planning to hold it as long as possible while taking baking rewards, hope this will be huge
