something is seriously wrong with any system where work is ever illegal We're also still plugging away at a tried and failed system, democracy and capitalism. So ya, things look kinda grim in the forecast while the majority of us either consent to doom or try to find the best loophole to escape cope with it. So, what's the alternative to capitalism in your book? Cause I don't see anything wrong with it. It's the only system, if unobstructed, that self-regulates. Everything else is artificially steered by humans, humans that are inherently incapable of seeing the bigger picture of all the interactions in a system as complex as our planet. And so far I haven't even read about anything that comes even remotely close to capitalism. Democracy on the other hand... is just the opposite extreme of authoritarian regimes and ultimately not much different. capitalism feeds the human greed that's the biggest issue i see with it... That greed then leads man to make immoral decisions. The more power you have the better are the chances of you getting away with the crime... Surely I don't have a working model for humans to follow vs. capitalism and I agree with Thekool1s, greed and power seeking are the largest problems. Greed and power separates us fundamentally. I'm not sure how long but I don't believe capitalism will exist far into our evolution. I think our unique ability to be conscience of ourselves will ultimately lead us back to hive mind where 1 is no more important than another and in fact its critical that all participate selflessly and simultaneously. Sort of like ants. Fire-ants if you like or bees. Sure, there's a queen but shes not an authoritarian figure but responsible to create the strongest and most efficient community for the whole. Quite contrary to our current and historical attempts. Humans cannot possibly evolve without passing through this simple and fundamental value of selflessness. Democracy suggests that the majority will pass a vote. Compounded with greed (capitalism) leads to corruption and ultimately tyranny where only division is possible. Currently humans are the biggest joke on the planet although we are unique in our ability to be self aware and pursue individual free will (tainted by our own constructs of democracy and capitalism). Hive mind in my opinion is the only way forward and when we start to become this, those previous constructs will dissolve.

Sweden doesn't care about your citizenship, anyone can own property, even people without citizenship. You would have to pay real estate tax, but that tax had a cap of 914 USD last year. And in many cases you pay less, it's adjusted for inflation yearly. And everybody speaks english.
It's also Sweden. Also being overrun by muslim immigrants that are increasingly incompatible with civilized societies, but the Swedes are so cucked, they're bending over and taking it, while saying "Thank you. Can I have another ?" I can't believe what's happening over there in Europe. It's terrifying to me. How's tax day coming along fellow Americans?
Much poorer Filed and paid online. Already had both the FY17 and Q1FY18 payments sucked out of my accounts by the IRS this morning. Sadface. One more year of "painful" tax returns with all the BTC selling I've done for retirement purposes this year, but have no concerns with meeting those obligations - especially with making a small estimated payment for Q1FY18. Pay your estimated quarterly tax, folks. It saves you a lot of butthurt when you file at the end of the year. And if you complain about migrants on facebook or twitter, you go to jail. At least in germany and england, same pattern everywhere, just a matter of degrees.

Slight exaggeration. If true, the 51.9% of UK population who voted for Brexit primarily due to immigration concerns would be in jail. You can complain about migrants, it's racism which is illegal and rightly so. In other news....it's a sea of green in cryptoland

Capitalism self-regulates just fine in some cases, like it will determine the number of barbershops in a town. But there are other cases: bank runs, monopolies, etc.

https://twitter.com/Pepillionaire/status/985400164046327808 Nice. South Park meets btc advice. twitter is intermittently broken, so meanwhile, on capitalism: https://medium.com/@jimmysong/why-bitcoin-works-fe32879a73f5Conclusion
Bitcoin’s main benefit to society can be understood as bringing back sound money. Sound money allows for capital accumulation which allows for investment, leading to better goods and services for less effort. This, in turn, benefits all of civilization. We’re not there yet, but this is the main value proposition.
Contrast this to our society which is based on fiat money and you can see the difference. Instead of a large number of rent seekers, we instead get entrepreneurs. Instead of people playing zero sum games, we get innovations that add to the pie.
In short, Bitcoin works because Bitcoin is sound money. And sound money changes everything. Bitcoin will change the role of government, how people relate to one another, how people will perceive the future, how everyone will plan, etc. Bitcoin is nothing less than a complete upheaval of the current fiat system with large second and third order effects that incentivize building instead of rent-seeking.
Welcome to the revolution.

Not to mention the landfill mountain of debt money fueled garbage products.
It is impossible to make a profit manufacturing items of real quality in this environment. When the money is meaningless, and constantly devaluing, people will buy anything.
The ecological consequences of the fiat system have been profound, it can't end soon enough.

There are plenty of such examples, aside from banks. Sometimes a small problem for a company might create a self-fulfilling prophecy, and lead to bigger and bigger problems.
