I have a thread in Meta open since February, with a query of how many hours a day you dedicate to the forum, after 8 months I refloated it and updated it with a poll, here is the link in case you want to visit it and contribute your vote or your opinion https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228859.0

Let me share a curios and a little unpleasant story. In my country, a large part of the population ID's expires this year. The government has decided to extend this period by another year due to the covid crisis and to avoid crowds. So far so good. But I started receiving letters from all crypto exchanges that my ID has expired. And now I have to write letters to the support, to explain myself to them to give me access to my accounts. I do not currently have access to any exchange and I have to wait days, probably weeks for this issue to be resovled. This sucks.
I was denied a credit card because my DL was expired, even though my passport was valid. What does driving have to do with credit??? My bitcoin wallet never expires.

Good Lord everyone's in such a panic over here in the V8s citadel and its villages. Can I do this ? Will we able to do that? Course you effing can, I'll allow it. But they need a lot of admin. poor souls... Just don't expect me to know anything about the farming side, I may call myself a farmer, but that's strictly for tax purposes. (We make catastrophic losses as often as feasible.) I'm really just a glorified gardener and pretty brown-thumbed at best. So, way behind on pm's, reading the Wall, joke-nominating micropenes and the truly deserving for that award thing, all the important stuff. So bear with me plox and thx.

I was denied entry to a bar once because my DL had expired. I was 29 at the time. My ID application was (almost) denied once, because the medical certificate to confirm my blood type was older than 6 months. I asked the lady if she thought my blood type could have changed since the test was done. She stared at me for 15 seconds. Then she accepted my documents.

FS I didn't turn into a different person because it expired last week.

I was denied a credit card because my DL was expired, even though my passport was valid. What does driving have to do with credit??? My bitcoin wallet never expires. I have had trouble with banks, even with multiple forms of valid government-issued ID—because I lead a privacy-oriented lifestyle, and I am too successful at evading the all-seeing eyes of the corporate mass-surveillance data warehouses. Evidently, I do not exist: I am an unperson. I am nobody. My Bitcoin wallet cares only if I have the private keys. PSA: You have no privacy! When you sign up with a bank, the bank’s computer already knows all about you—even before you flash your livestock brand ID. And if your personal data have been stolen and traded on teh darkwebz, the bank’s computer may unarguably “know” things about you that are not true... When you visit a website, even with a VPN, the site already knows who you are, where you are from, and what you have been doing. Oh, and—heed Newbie-ranked vintage nullius: In a similar vein, do you carry a mobile phone? (I ask this rhetorically; I would not suggest that you answer such questions on a public forum!) If you do, then somewhere, there is a database which knows precisely where you were physically located on, say, the date of 2010-03-09 at 10:04 in the morning. Do you know exactly where you were on 2010-03-09 at 10:04 in the morning? Somebody does—well, a computer somewhere does. If you were to ever become interesting (in the sense of a “person of interest”), then a wetware analyst could look back at that years or decades later, and correlate it with other available information. That includes, but is not limited to, the calls and texts you made with that phone (metadata and/or content). It also includes the locations and communications of persons carrying phones around you. Do you remember who was near you and whom you associated with on 2010-03-09 at 10:04 in the morning? Somewhere, there is a database which remembers that. If you do not want to use websites that may track you, then you need to more or less STOP USING THE WEB altogether. And if you carry a mobile phone, then you are a total idiot.

Good morning Bitcoinland. Still over $13k... currently $13433USD/$17875CAD (Bitcoinaverage) C'mon November. Start rallying. Go Bitcoin go. I was denied entry to a bar once because my DL had expired. I was 29 at the time.
I was carded at the Skydome (baseball park) when I was 60 years old. Nice ego boost but still a little annoying. I didn't have any real ID at the time. I don't drive. Haven't had a license since 1966. Faked it with other cards. Didn't have more than a birth certificate, health card and Social Insurance card until MtGox insisted I got an official Ontario ID card or I couldn't withdraw my 50 coins. Got the card and they still ripped me off for my 50 coins. I'll never expose my coins to the internet again and I will strive to avoid identification and maintain anonymity whenever possible. Identification facilitates crime.

PlanB @100trillionUSD #Bitcoin is the best performing asset, this year, last 5 years and last 10 years. Even risk-adjusted bitcoin outperforms all other assets, year after year. What's your reason for not having bitcoin in your investment portfolio?
Some more research I shared somewhere else. Might worth a look https://www.seba.swiss/research/crypto-assets-an-emerging-asset-class
