I thought what I said was very logical. Until Bitcoin is actually banned in China, there will always be room for some story about it getting banned. I suppose the alternative would be for China to officially endorse Bitcoin, but that would be even less likely to happen.

So get ready to settle in on $699.9999 for a long while, because that's where the FUDster whale(s) wanna take it to.

So predictable I could set my watch to this crap.  Roll Eyes

That is not called settling in, that is called volatility and that is called increased volume, and then we see if one side or the other wins, or if like you are suggesting, there ends up being a $699 truce... Whatever.. there is no inevitability or numerology or any of this other phoney baloney numerology crap that you tend to be inclined to spew out.

It's called a distractional and nearly irrelevant desire to be correct and to engage in unnecessary self-aggrandizement while failing to give specifics at the time of the supposed "calling."

And, sure at this point you say that you were correct merely because we have kind of been around the supposed call price point for about a day and a half... kind of, but not really.

Remember, within that same post that you quote from me (above), I had asked for you to provide more specifics at that particular time, and what we heard from you at that particular time (until about 33 hours later) was silence.... because 33 hours later you are now wanting to assert that you were correct about some stupid vague and general thing that you said.. and in the end, who gives a shit about your throwing of a dart that happened to land in the approximately correct area that maybe others had been thinking too (but did not say)?

We're going to keep hearing "Chiba bans Bitcoin" until they actually do.

I do not want to be a dick, but this is a really good read about all this China FUD http://fintekneeks.com/zerohedge-fakes-bitcoin-panic/. Especially the part, where they point to the fact, that China had a +buy volume during the selling, and how insignificant bitcoin is in a 100 trillion market.

Just a thought.

it doesn't matter what the truth is. there are enough scared children in the bitcoin market willing to shit the bed and run straight into the hands of the adults controlling them. this'll carry on until a majority of coins are in the hands of more hardened traders.

I know, right? :-D

That is why my "stash" has increased during the FUD, and the children went home with a loss  Cool I even said to Terra, that i would be glad for a 650+ish correction, so i can buy more BTC, and in less than a day, it did happen, just as we talked about it.

It's a very boring weekend so far and it's not just because of the rain. I don't see much happening. I'll take the best out of it: we are above $700

Good morning Bitcoinland.

It's awfully quiet around here. You could hear a pin drop.

Meanwhile the price hasn't changed much... $705 on Bitcoinaverage.

No news is good news, I guess.

Maybe I missed the news. Does Bitcoin get a new CEO?

Or are you referring to this American play? Meh.

If you believe that a presidental election won't make a dent in the price of bitcoin you are in a dreamland of bitcoin as the only currency in the world and the "btc is all there is" type people's eyes only.

if trump wins you will see a big drop on the financial markets and lots of uncertainty -> btc rises

if clinton wins we may very well see violent uprising in some states with nationalgard and everything -> btc rises

if we get a too close to call result we see weeks of chaos, accusations and eventually violence -> financial markets decline, btc rises

edit: last but not least the US has warned russia that if it interferes in any way in the US-election it will react with a painful counterreaction onto the russian infrastructure. if that happens -> btc rise
