It seems to me the trend is still undetermined. It could still go down or sideways for a long time. We came down for a pretty long time, I don't see anything near a new trend at this stage. |

This is a very positive analysis. But they have yet to figure out that blockchain without the immutable, uncensorable, decentralized aspects is just a less efficient version of what we already have. The value lies in the power that it grants in combination with OTHER technologies. Without public/private key cryptography, proof of work, and the value incentive it's just a bad database. Once they figure out: - how those other technologies in combination with blockchain create a system that the world has never seen - that because of the attribute of this combined technology there cannot be many, but rather few successful/secure blockchains - and that the name of the premier "value incentive" is BITCOIN they will be kicking themselves that they did not see it earlier. Is it not amazing to have a front row seat to all of this? |

Indeed. Well we have a little more work to do, perhaps. And this could indeed be a great bulltrap. But with the explosive volume I am wondering if we might see another leg that pushes over your log trend. But that would be a 20%+ day. That never happens.  The next 24 .... oh nvm |

These last couple weeks, I took a gamble. My wife and I started gifting small amounts of bitcoin to a large number of friends and family. Rainy day fund, college fund, shits and giggles fund, whatever they wanted to call it. Only stipulation was not to sell until after mid 2021, a year after the halvening. I'm watching the network effect in action. Days like today certainly got their attention. How many will end up adding to their positions, I wonder? Adoption doesn't just happen. Some people need a little nudge. Luckily, my gamble paid off in the correct direction. So far.  |
