I havent seen any rockets or upward graphs in a while. The poll is bearish. Is it time for a reversal?
Anyone can get lucky once. Next stage:?

Austria with 8 million population definitely rocks Do you or anyone else have a link for that? Especially when we consider how draconian USA seems to be in terms of some of its financial laws, I would have never speculated that USA was so disproportionately high in the number of ATMs as compared with other places... And Japan is really low, too? We continue to hear about how friendly Japan is to Bitcoin/crypto, but why don't dey got no BATMs? USA, USA, USA...

I was thinking about that the other day. Imagine an alien watching us humans as we travel through space gathering gold.
"Why do they expend so much time and resources to gather that metal? Is it vital to their survival? Do they need it for food or to reproduce?"
"No, they just gather it and hide it away in metal boxes so that other humans don't take it."
Except... If they were a spacefaring race it stands to reason they would realize we had identified it as rare, imperishable and inimitable. And they would know we were using it to store value. "Quaint", they might say.

Alts getting rekt. This will hopefully teach them. Nothing will teach them as long as there are punters.

I'm not buying it. Asteroid gold mining wont happen. That is the worst argument ever conceived for future abundance of gold.
All you have to do is send an autonomous vehicle out there to subtly nudge an asteroid so that it's new trajectory crashes it into your remote wilderness land. I don't see why people think that's so far fetched.
Aliens would understand bitcoin. Because that's how their money works.

I don't suspect that capitalism just stops working in an extremely technologically advanced society (even if they have something like a replicator) but I do suspect that it may become dangerous. Anything that is powerful is dangerous. Advanced technology is probably so powerful that it's already extremely dangerous on it's own. Capitalism could be like throwing gasoline on that fire.
The island we are looking at is closer to the equator than Tahiti. But the reason such a storm made such news in 2010 is that they hardly ever get those here.
Do you have a website or a blog or anything about this project? I would like to stay up to date with developments.

Seasteads are not going to stay autonomous, even if they start out that way. We got a more or less global collapse coming.

Good to see that the price has stayed over the 7300 support levels, 7777 next target?

Bullish that we are tracking resistance rather than support. The more we track resistance, the weaker it gets.

Everybody is all tied up at the moment trying to buy back a slice of living space from throbbing, unfettered global capital run amok. A personal seastead would probably be cheaper.

Just get a boat. If you have a friend you wanna seastead with them get two boats and tie them together when not on the go. I can say from experience that the right boat is perfectly serviceable as a dwelling.

But this thread would not be a true cargo cult without Elwar trying to recreate Galt's Gulch with the most economically unfeasible product possible.

I make a prediction the odds of shitcoins defeating gold and silver are lower than Vitalik Buterin replacing Phil Anselmo as the singer of Pantera.

killer coin clowns from outer space? =) bwaaa There has not been any hashrate gain made by bitcoin cash this year. A slight loss. Any prove of work coin hashrate must increase first then price can increase. It is not acceptable to secure $1000 with a $1 lock. Invest in security first then you can have higher amounts in the save.

They sure don't make dreams like they used to. It's like a random girl you see working at the grocery store nobody pays attention to. It kind of reminds me of posts on the daily stormer arguing whether "high caste indians" are white or not.
