Let's blame etherium. "Internet 2" my ass. All it accomplished was setting a horde of crooked shitcoin tokens on the world. I hated that crap from the getgo for good reason.

Haha, Etherr has started its defeat about 3 months ago. now only $ 122 at CMC. if you do it ...

you will make it lose more, and be followed by other ERC20 tokens Roll Eyes

The issue with eth is that it has no utility  right now - no more ICO's, no use case, no demand and bottom prices combined with the bearish sentiment.

Indeed.
ICOs are over thanks to SEC and thanks to the 99% of them having been pretty much scams. Casper, sharding and POS won't change the fact that ETH is doomed.
This is why ethereum-wannabes such as NEO and EOS also have no future.

how's it going old friends? haven't really said anything here since 2014.

4 year cycles and all that....

blitz u still around? shroomsie? richie? risto?

Some of the old faces are still here in bitcointalk, not necessarily this thread. I think Risto is living like a king in his Castle. He’s always on Monero thread.

I haven’t been here a lot recently but I pop back.

Risto´s castle burned down a few months ago, I only have an Estonian article: http://www.delfi.ee/news/paevauudised/eesti/soome-bitcoini-paruni-eestis-asuvat-kinnisvara-laastavad-salaparased-polengud-alles-asja-poles-maha-malla-mois?id=83721469

I'm in extreme distress right now, having a huge panic attack.  The money I lost in bitcoin, eth, xmr is very high.
Can barely breathe right now. someone help me  Never thought it could ever go this low again, I am freaking out.

Mate, sure, I feel you but whatever, you came to take someones money and found out someone else had already taken that seat and now you're condemning the world for the same evil behavior you hoped to profit from.
The reality here is some of us are invested in an idea that has potential to usurp legacy financial systems and change globalization by way of creating sovereign wealth which is permission-less. The fact that bitcoin still exists today while the powers that be try to squash it is extremely bullish.  They can pump and they can dump and they hope to catch as many small fish as possible who will buy high-sell low and swear never to return to crypto. This is all they've got and that's far from enough to stop bitcoin from maturing.  I strongly suggest you research BITCOIN and find out why its here - why its important and whether or not you believe its a viable solution for us before you throw money that you need at it.  Sincerely, I hope you make it through your panic attack with some valuable hindsight that will help you moving forward.

Just picked up some food at the local 7/11, and noticed they are selling some kind of electronic security gadget. Push a button to call for help to your location.

This is a safe country, and a safe part of the country. I wouldn't have imagined there was a market for something like this. Something fucky going on.

No fear at all.

It's a win-win situation.

Moon = Riches beyond wildest dreams
Zero = Life goes on as normal (fiat reserves sufficient)

Only those who went all-in are afraid. And I still believe they will be winners, too, in the end.

Quite so, quite so. Bacteria-laden Things that have been left out in the open for far too long. Nonetheless, it goes acceptably with beer when there is little time for anything else.

I went all in and have gained more than I invested. It's already a win no matter what happens. Only question is if it is a small win or a life changing one. No reason not to bet it all at this point.
