IMO, Tweezer Bottom is one of the (very) possible scenarios at this stage:

Credits: @BigCheds

Yeah ok so I've never heard of a tweezer before and looked it up and I'm wondering if people just sit around making up names for every fucking pattern they ever see now.

http://www.chart-formations.com/candlestick-patterns/tweezers.aspx

Whats the criteria to be a named pattern, happened more than once in any market anywhere?

Not sure why you haven't heard of the tweezers before; it's one of the commonly used candlestick patterns and it was introduced back in the 1950s.

I still take an intermediate low of $5k-$6k around the end of Q4 into account, based on a giant bearflag, by my own lousy TA.
Otherwise i'm bullish for Q4 and 2020 in general, but if BTC is more than good at one thing, then it's to surprise.
My plan is to hodl on, save fiat, buy corn in Q1/2020 or even wait until the halving and invest in some shitcoin that is carried upwards by bitcoin, to compensate for missing out the $7-$8k range for rebuy (cause lack of fiat).

EDIT: It's all mindgames, but i won't be selling, that's for sure.

It's good that BTC didn't break below last 2 weeks' lows, the tight channel held, now it's coiled for a potential explosive move upwards if price

can close above 8500 within 1-2 days, the likelihood of a bullish breakout now is considerably greater than the opposite scenario.

Daily chart looks awesome now. We are done with all downward movement. The MACD is about to crossover from below the zero point which shows clear sign of bullishness. We can see a pump till 9k in a day or two if today's close is above the yesterday's open. We are creating a sort of tweezers bottom which too is considered quite bullish. Not to forget RSI took looks divergent and has entered the normal zone from the oversold zone. Hopes are high that we can see a bullish candle soon.

is there enough cash for $50k BTC. I mean, if holders will sell at $50k, can exchanges and all others business pay sellers?
If the supply and demand is real, then yes they should have the funds, if someone sells at 50k, someone else buys at 50k, unless the exchange platforms bring most of the liquidity themselves, but don't have any reliable info about this.
I bet a few exchanges perform arbitrage too.

Holding equal size of both short and long positions at the same time is very stupid indeed. You just pay rollover fees on both sides without any chance to make profit or loss.

What you say sounds true if taken literally and out of context, but I know I consistently gained from this, at varying rates according to market volatility and predictability. I'm not talking about life changing money, or even about a significant multiple of the play stash for each trade. It's several small trades adding up, most of which (an overwhelming ~90+% ballpark) yield nonnegative profit. So how can that be if what you say is correct? The answer, again, is in the underlying assumptions.

1) Not necessarily equal size
2) Not necessarily open at the same time
3) Not closed at the same time
4) Some exchanges award you maker rebates (negative fees) if you are a market maker (use limit orders only).

It would be phenomenal that this year the candle culminates like that of 2013.
