Going down again? Observing $7950 now. Grab them cheap coins while you can. I did this mistake when it was sub $1k and bought none. Ignored bitcoin completely. Mistake of my life. I am not repeating the same mistake this time.

Without shorts, a market has no pessimists. “If you do believe it’s a ridiculous price but you don’t own, there’s no way to express that view,” Giancarlo told CoinDesk, adding:
“If you don’t have that derivative, then all you’ve got are believers [and] it’s a believers’ market.” And this is exactly why $$$ ponzi is collapsing and Fed resumed money printing. They pay with newly printed $$$ the scam (aka derivative) of selling something they don't own!

Offline payments for Lightning Network.
I thought we decided long ago that we didn't much care for custodial solutions? As I understand this is something more like a payment with a terrible lag on one of the intermediate hop, delaying final hop until destination node is online. Is that a this a definition of custodial? There are triggers for “failed” payments I guess. I don’t know, but we discussed it here.

Personally, I'm guessing it's a macro reversal. We need to start slow grinding up to the previous ATH over the next ~6 months or history won't repeat itself like the world is expecting.
Quite right.. Only the slow grind up can lead to another ATH. Price is in a falling medium term trend atm.

Just to be on-topic for a minute, so no one can say that I never was, I think we're not going much lower for quite a long time, if ever. We may briefly touch $7700 but that's it. Going by recent volumes and just my breadth of experience from watching the wall, I think we're due for an eventual catapult back above $10k before the year's end. I'm not going to predict when before Jan 1st, but I do predict that by Jan 1st we will be above $10k. I'll even put my name on it.

I agree. Fuck the charts, unless they say something that I like. That is the position that the majority of investors take. Confirmatory bias. You can see it in this board, you can see it everywhere. In general investing, it always causes speculators large losses eventually. In BTC it has only been different because the long term trend was/is so exponetially strong. Merely an act of faith to hodl. In that sense, all trading/walls/charts/opinions are merely a distraction while waiting for the next leg up. (You , among others, provide a lot of words and are a great distraction ! ). I see my role as pointing out that nothing is 100% certain, even the survival of BTC. I have been reading charts a very long time and they are not difficult to understand. IMO they do not definitively predict the future but do provide a reference to the probability scale (of which I know you are a fan).

I know we can never be 100% sure of survival, but that counts for everything.... But as BTC is growing every day and more users, buyers, believers are learning, working, buying etc I think we can say its less and less looking to fail every day.... Though I know nothing is written in stone and nothing is 100% sure. Mmmm and yes you're absolutely right, JJG provides a lot of words But for sure BTC will be seen as an unique thing with a lot of reasons to buy, people can really be fully independent from everything etc

Real life (troubles) got me busy these days, but i came to post that article too. I read it yesterday and it got me so angry, that my limited english language skills wont let me express... The ones that brag about freedom and protecting the consumer, manipulate you deliberately. Sad.. i´m really concerned about whats next...

Nothing is guaranteed. Probable. $60,000 sounds good to me, I’ll definitely be happy if that prediction comes true.

Back at last, both from vacation and from the forum problems. Looks like the "Show new posts" function is still throwing a 503, but I was able to find this thread manually.
Now, back to 10,000.....
