my theory is this: until halving in May 2020 volume on marketplaces will decline because miners and others will hold back their BTC and plan to sell it after halving. they are speculating the price will increase after halving.

so low volume is not good for markets because then markets are easier to manipulate by big fishes.

any thoughts on this?

ITS OVER 9600!!!

She looks more like a cute little pill bug wearing a tracker than a Vegeta Wink

she looks to me like screaming constantly: "pls f**k me". sorry for my bad thoughts! I'm just a man with primitive instincts.  Roll Eyes

On one hand, you're definitely a man with primitive instincts. On the other hand, there's probably some truth to those words.

I'm thinking BCH might make a good shorting opportunity in the near future. But like all things its price is largely correlated with BTC.

I'm also a bit oldfashioned but you might have missed that metrosexual is not a thing anymore, in fact since about ten years or so.  Tongue

Jesus, you're right, it was ten years ago! Time fucking flies.

I remember in 2010 being disappointed that we hadn't found any monoliths yet, and we still haven't found a single one.

There's gonna be huge gap on the Bitcoin CME Futures chart (4H) when trading opens in 5 hours (23:00 UTC)
Gaps tend to get filled *almost* every time. Plus 50-day MA and 200-day MA Golden Cross on Monday or Tuesday is telling me this correction will not last long.

So far so good. Calling $10460 CME Futures on Thursday/Friday.

but then i figure if folks like me we not actually using bitcoin what good is it?

Godl is trading above 1,600$/oz for the first time since march 2013:

Quote
(Kitco News) - Gold prices are solidly up, hit a five-week high and are trading at session highs above $1,600.00 an ounce in late-morning action Tuesday. The yellow metal is catching a good safe-haven bid as the U.S. stock market is selling off and is at daily lows amid increasing concerns regarding the coronavirus outbreak significantly denting global economic growth. April gold was last up $19.40 at $1,605.90.

https://www.kitco.com/news/2020-02-18/Gold-sharply-up-at-daily-highs-above-1-600-as-U-S-stock-market-sells-off.html

Just remember it is not the Gold going up, is the USD going down.
Like it it has been consinstently doing since 1930.
