A 20-year-old Chinese woman from Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, traveled 400 miles(675 km) north to Anyang where she infected five relatives, without ever showing signs of infection, Chinese scientists reported on Friday, offering new evidence that the virus can be spread asymptomatically.
[...]
All five of her relatives developed COVID-19 pneumonia, but as of Feb. 11, the young woman still had not developed any symptoms, her chest CT remained normal and she had no fever, stomach or respiratory symptoms, such as cough or sore throat.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-health-study/wuhan-woman-with-no-symptoms-infects-five-relatives-with-coronavirus-study-idUSKBN20G00JItaly has now two deaths. Apparently the first infected had no symptoms. And now is negative to every test. People here are panicking. This means people are over reacting to rational risks. Of course this has layered implication, even on the economic side of the story. Have been reading it this morning about Italy and some villages/cities on lockdown... Is that for real? Yes. Forget the lockdown you saw in China, but yes, some villages are on “limited lockdown”. I think it is a more “strong moral suasion” to stay at home rather than a true ban (in Italy we have laws, contrary to China). BREAKING: Italy orders mass closures after #coronavirus cases quadruple. Officials ordered schools, public buildings, restaurants and coffee shops to close. The emergency measures come as a cluster of new COVID19 infections emerged, including some who had not been to China (DW) https://twitter.com/howroute/status/1230970101828071430?s=20

But limited to some of the villages. I don’t know if it happened also elsewhere, but situation is quickly escalating and I see (read) panick in the streets. Trains being blocked, Chinese people being attacked and beaten on the streets. Link in Italian: https://www.quotidiano.net/cronaca/coronavirus-psicosi-torino-1.5041421

https://www.unconfiscatable.com/ You know, as much as I criticise some of these charlatans, this could be worse. I'll be watching some of it later.

Expecting another big dump soon. Sentiment is too bullish. Also, going stir-crazy over here. If Britons don't start dropping dead soon I will be mighty annoyed. Even the eyeties can do it ffs.

We are too squeezed-in for really big moves. On one hand, dump to 8xxx looks like almost 100% sure thing, but so what... Surely we'll recover by April. No biggie.

I used to panic by such moves but I don’t care any more. The end result is the same - MOON. I am guilty of wishing my life away until late 2021 though when the next parabolic rise is expected. Anybody else the same?

Nope. I'm an Instagram model living my best life RIGHT NOW. We're talking vegan, waxing, car footwell mats imbued with the smell of celebrity vaginas, rejecting gender pronouns and lot and lots of Subbuteo.

@blockfolio 🏦 Banks call bitcoin a "bad idea" 🚖 Taxis called Uber a "bad idea" 🏨 Hotels called Airbnb a "bad idea" 🎵 Labels called streaming a "bad idea" 📰 Papers called internet a "bad idea" 📻 Radio stations called TV a "bad idea" It's simple, they're afraid. https://twitter.com/blockfolio/status/1231215981743071232?s=21@bitcoinhog Price aside, the true #Bitcoin hodlers can wait as long as required. We're not going to change our mind. Because we know moon is inevitable. Everytime someone comes to this realization and buys in, Bitcoin becomes more scarce. Don't let them scare you into reporting you "holdings"!
Tell them NOTHING!
The IRS has known about me since 2013. Banker reported me to SEC for an over 10k sale to get KNC Jupiter Miner from Sweden... ...went to phone meeting with a banker and SEC (voice phone SEC end) and banker's 'proof' was BTC was 'evil' and no way I had done taxes (spring 2014 with new IRS crypto rules) slap'd down my CPA done Tax Forms paid and SEC guy in a 'resigned' voice is why am I here? ...so you can account for the BTC now or when they come later..I myself when the IRS or Whomever comes by saying I am not legit due to my (1) trophy girlfriend (2) boat on the lawn (3) flashy car etc, will show them my 'legit' crypto earnings and tell whoever they are to go 'pound sand' ..eventually KYC will be for all exchanges...so it will only get worse IMHO. (hope it is not as bad as all that ...but soured me on what to expect as a newbie till now from 2013. thats why i have signed some old mining addys with "i am so and so and i mined to this addy between approximately this and this date with this hardware at this pool", saved pool payout logs and screenshots, kept gpu receipts, pics of mining setups etc. i always figured i would have to account for those early btc.

Coinbase ratted me out years ago. Lol
been with coinbase since 2013 and filed taxes on btc earnings (no trading then, mainly selling mined coin with occasional buys) long before all that 1099 crap and such. as ive mentioned before i always figured btc would be tracked.

remember there was that statistic about 50% of peeps having difficulties coming up with $400 for an emergency, so to own .012BTC, which may represent several thousands of dollars of value, free and clear, will still likely be out of touch from many normies who plan to fail by failing to plan.
back in the day i lived paycheck to paycheck and sometimes not even that (but i always worked). a slice of bread with peanut butter was a feast (but made sure my cat was better fed than i was, my cat also had vet visits, while i had no insurance for doctors.. tough it out was the motto). electricity for lighting was paradise as i would regularly have mine shut off. thankfully candles were cheap and i could walk to the library for books. i kinda feel that you need to be able to live poor before you can live rich. although taking the short cut to rich could be nice one may not appreciate it as much.

Not me. For several reasons: - After being deluded in december 2017 into thinking that I could be "financially independent soon" (tm) and then receiving a hard blow to my hopes by the subsequent crypto winter, I learned not to take anything for granted. Even if the possibility of reaching that point is still there, I need to be fully aware that it could take an undetermined number of extra years... or never come. - I also decided that the time, attention... and expectation I was giving to it would all be thrown to the trashcan if my hopes don't materialize so I needed to involve myself in other new side projects that would suck most my (already limited) time in the meantime. Projects that will fit either if my "crypto hopes" materialize... and that also will somehow fit if it doesn't. Main of those projects is the "vacation" house and land I bought last year and that needed some upgrades that I am mostly doing myself. If Bitcoin does good I will use some BTC to cancel the mortgage and THAT will be my "lambo". If it doesn't, I will maybe have to sell the house (most probably at a profit) as I can't stand the current deficit cashflow for many years... but if Bitcoin does well I will have already finished what I wanted to do (on a personal level) with the money. - As I have decided to plan for both possible scenarios, that means more work and thus more time needed. When this ends, hopefully successfully, I will not only have "da money" but also my free time back as I am anticipating and doing all the hard work now. So no, I decided to keep me extra busy and stressed in the meantime instead.
