Encryption Ban in United States Threats Telegram, Whatsapp, Signal and Threema
Companies like Apple, Google and Telegram could soon face anti-encryption demands from the government. Democrats and Republicans within the Senate support the new draft bill. They call it the Eliminating Abusive and Rampant Neglect of Interactive Technologies (EARN IT) Act. Thanks to the act, the law enforcement agencies will read communications of people thanks to the presumable encryption ban. In such a case, anyone outside the NSA will see what you send via messengers with ‘build-in end-to-end encryption https://www.coinspeaker.com/encryption-ban-whatsapp-telegram/A ban in encryption means the NSA cant decrypt Satoshi's wallets.

There is no encryption in Bitcoin, there is only cryptographic signing, so it shouldn't have any effect on Bitcoin protocol itself.

Each time after the halving, market turned to bull and bitcoin hit new all time high point. The movements after the halvings, before the halvings are very similar to eachother. Waiting for a bull run is not just a pollyannaish hope, it is a statistical fact. We are very close to a new all time high. For the dreamers that want to buy cheaper bitcoin, 9k usd will be also a dream very soon And for the ones that think bitcoin will crash down... when the time comes and bitcoin hits the new ath believe me you are going to check the posts of 2019 in this topic and cry.

US Marshals Will Auction $40M in Bitcoin This Month The U.S. Marshals Service is auctioning nearly $40 million in bitcoin, the first such auction since the end of 2018.
The Marshals will auction "approximately" 4,040 bitcoin, worth $37.7 million at press time, according to CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index, to registered bidders on Feb. 18, the press release said. Potential bidders must register by Feb. 12.
"The auction will take place during a six-hour period Feb. 18. Bids will be accepted by email from pre-registered bidders only," the release said.
Bidders will also be required to make a $200,000 deposit before being able to bid. Participants who do not win their bids will receive these back.
The bitcoin will be sold in four lots, with 2,500, 1,000, 500 and 40.54069820 bitcoin each. The first three lots are further split into blocks, each with their own set number of bitcoin. https://www.coindesk.com/us-marshals-will-auction-40m-in-bitcoin-this-month

If it were illegal they would “burn it”, like they do with seized drugs. This is something very important regarding this aspect una common law system, way more important than any price-related issue.

ha they want the monies
Sure they want the money. They would like to collect the money from the drug too, but they cannot sell it. The point is: every time they sell BTC for the money they plan amo the nail in the “Bitcoin is illegal” coffin as a law deeming bitcoin illegal would require basicall a Supreme Court pronunciation, that would be very difficult after many auctions.
