Been googling "government cheese" but can't find any. I found government detergent and soap and a shitload of other things, mainly from the era of the cold war, but no cheese. Disappointed.

70 days and counting. +3.5% a day would end up exactly at $100k (warning, optimistic timeline here )

Flipping bloody Waitrose was sold out of wild smoked salmon and had to buy the farmed muck. #ithasbegun #howarewemeanttolive
Damn - what is the world coming to? However, you can't eat farmed stuff though! Or 'responsibly sourced'* as they euphemistically call it all - even the Turkish sea bass these days. *which means guaranteed, utterly toxic, force grown, chemical and hormone filled shite

Actually I use a syllable counter for the haikus, cos counting fucking distracts me: https://syllablecounter.net/countI did try both - but it didn't make a difference in the count, so I used the 's. To see you again, it's to get broke again, oh well never mind.Did you use the syllable counter for that one?

I was poor enough to get government cheese in the 80s. Apparently they paid farmers to farm cheese but had too much of it so they gave it out to the poor. https://www.history.com/news/government-cheese-dairy-farmers-reagan

Lived in an economically... complex.... neighborhood in the early 80's. It was like a 5 or 10 pound block of delicious. Can't remember anything as good since. Ah childhood memories.

He should probably call his insurance agent as a 21 year old will cause a lot of damage. But hey, why not?
