We also tied the 15000 + record which is 11 days set
in dec 2017 tied now

2020-11-06  15,570.    2017-12-21  16,033

2020-11-16  16,409     2017-12-11  16,293

so if we close at 15000 plus on the 17 we will have 2 records set and be going after the 41 day record over 12500 sec in dec 2017 to jan 2018

Being now in a magnanimous mood, I will cast this pearl before you unmitigated savages:

I'm no longer thinking about buying Lambos, except in the "yeah I might trade a bitcoin for one". Then I can buff it with the towels I bought for a bitcoin years ago.....

lol some swanky towels you got there  Grin

* nullius munches on pizza.

It reminds me of that time that Cleopatra bet Mark Anthony that she could consume one meal worth ten million (silver) coins—then, won her bet by dissolving the world’s largest pearl in vinegar, and drinking it.

This specimen is anachronistic as to the story, but it is one sestertius:

Worth two and one-half asses, and worth ∞× Democrats.

Did Pliny write truly?  Was his historical account of this event even plausible?

Hmmm...  JONES, PRUDENCE J.  “Cleopatra's Cocktail.”  The Classical World, vol. 103, no. 2, 2010, pp. 207–220.  JSTOR, www.jstor.org/stable/40599928.

Quote from: Jones (2010)
Cleopatra’s Cocktail

Abstract:  Pliny the Elder’s account of Cleopatra consuming a cocktail of vinegar and a pearl in order to win a bet with Anthony was considered credible in the ancient world, but many modern scholars have relegated the anecdote to the realm of fantasy.  This paper identifies possible reasons for this skepticism, including the visual tradition of the story and the belief that increasing concentration always increases reaction rate.  Experiments reveal that, in the case of acetic acid and pearls, the concentration found in vinegar made from wine is ideal.

I am so rich in poetry that I cast pearls before swine.

Cleopatra was so rich that she cast pearls into wine.

So vitriolic am I, I will bathe that snack of goddesses in a cup of aqua regia, and make it my toast to the gods.  WITH PIZZA.  MUAHAHAHAHA!

I like things like onions, peppers, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, pepperoni, etc.

Go, Bitcoin, go!

This nonexistent cat is hungry for
PIZZA

Neither.  I don’t like their look.

Instead, I’ll take a couple of pizzas for 10 kBTC.

OK, I’m your fan, for now.  Despatch her to deliver my pizzas, and I will tip her a few sats after she earns them, the old-fashioned way.

Greatest truth told by my grandfather: You never pay a hooker to come over, you pay them to leave.

This is why you always use litecoin: 2.5 minute confirmation time=she gone.

I can confirm she will also be available for rental "services" at the 100k party. The price is higher though at an hourly rate of .02 BTC. Also she charges a bit more for couples for those of you bringing sand to the beach.

Rental Hell No!

I would buy in at 'full delusional' Trophy Wife status...and use delusion to think she loves me 'not' due to my BTC HODL/Hoard...

...the odds can be no worse than when Satoshi typed his paper right! Right! (damn it don't kill my dream) Sad

If I can believe in BTC/fantasy/fairy-dust/rainbows and unicorn perfumed farts...back in the way back when...I got into BTC/Crypto...I can do the same here!

(so sad, damn...so sad, I am...she would not let me park her car...it is doubtful she would let me 'park' her..no matter my BTC hoard/hodl....mumbles to self...

wanders away taking a half-assed kick at a throw pillow on the floor...grumble.....)

Its only a one year rental, Brad.  Then you pay her half of everything to GTFO.  Or lose her in a boating accident.  Not sure how that works.

Damn it, Toxic!  I said that I am hungry.  If, instead of something real that I can eat, you send me a possibly fake photograph that you understand how to makei.e., an illusory mirage of the real thing—then I will pay you with BCH BSV BCHN BCHA Bitcoin Ultra Platinum Purple Diamond with Ponies 10k coins that I made by running Core in regtest signet mode.
