I don't think soo..

Logic is the wrong Telephone to smartphone the journey was full of changes in features, Design, Working models, Prices drop with the introduction of technology, and more these are enough to explain.. But Bitcoin is like Static... No change in Supply, In features, In working protocols, and the Price is not dropping haha its getting higher and higher.

Haha i know you didn't mean that , but weird post so a weird view...

Even forgot the icons like blackberry, motorola razr... and that smartphone is actually not the pinnacle of technology since we already have folded screens available.
That's if you really want to dissect the picture, but it's the idea that counts and I think the author managed to convey it. We really are early.

"NEW: The US government has sold an additional 8,200 #Bitcoin.

Their remaining balance is 195,307 #BTC"

means, the biggest bitcoin holder is US government?

No, Satoshi Nakamoto remains the largest bitcoin holder, holding over a million. And of the states, the small European country of Bulgaria has 213,519 bitcoins, so from what we know from open sources, it has the most bitcoins after Satoshi Nakamoto. Cheesy

We never know if Satoshi will be back or not. He might not be back! Even if he is alive, he might not move it for a long time and his address will remain dormant. BTW, I didn't know about Bulgaris's holding.

Apple Pay and Google Pay VS Bitcoin

Apple pay and Google pay have many advantages in that they skip many steps to complete a transaction.
But in that respect Bitcoin is quite superior because transactions are possible without third parties.

Apple Pay and Google Pay will never allow third-party transactions. Most losses occur during these transactions. But in Bitcoin, transactions are completed without relying on anyone, so the risk is much lower and completed in less time.

Bitcoin is Best...

"We" are all shaking in our boots.

Better reduce our weekly DCA into BTC down from $100 to perhaps $50 and use the "saved" $50 per week to buy Ibonds, right?   or maybe doggie or lite coins?.. .. ouch!!!!

It appears as though the missing satoshi in this block reward was deliberately unclaimed. #Bitcoin
source

Whoever mined this block fucked up and not only forgot to collect the 1,000,000 sats in fees but also only collected 4,999,999,999 sats of the 5,000,000,000 sats (50 #BTC   ) block reward subsidy.

1,000,001 sats gone just like that...poof.

That's not a fuckup!... this is a fuckup!

https://mempool.space/block/0000000000000000004b27f9ee7ba33d6f048f684aaeb0eea4befd80f1701126

I had witness the creation of this block in realtime!

Don't forget, the protocol only states you can not collect more than the current reward subsidy... "<= Block Reward"

I wonder what would happen if you specify a negative number? unless it is coded <= Block Reward AND > 0

Do you realize how rare 1 Satoshi is? No? Let the following have an effect on you:

In about 9 years, less than 1 Bitcoin per block will be issued for the first time since the Bitcoin network has existed. It all started in 2009 with 50 Bitcoin, became single digits in 2020 and 2032 is the first time 0 is in front of the dot with exactly 0.78125 Bitcoin.

For us, this will already mean a significant supply shock, which we are going to feel massively.

But hold on: 104 years later, when there are very likely significantly more people than there are today and only 1 Satoshi is released per block, this fresh supply of Bitcoin will be 625,000,000 times lower than it is today and 78,125,000 times lower than the fresh supply in 9 years, when the block subsidy falls below 1 Bitcoin for the first time.

99.9999% less supply to finally dry up totally just four years later, forever.

Bitcoin is meant to be spent and used because it is by definition a P2P electronic cash system and that is the only way the network grows. But I find fascinating the idea that if we spend 10000 Satoshis today for a beer from a Lightning beer tap, this will be 10000 blocks of subsidy in the future and a little later even infinite blocks, since no block will ever emit just one new Satoshi. Let that sink in.

Collect Bitcoin. For yourselves, your children and your children's children.
