Legendary:   Activity: the Legendary membergroup has no universal activity requirement.
You are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity,
but the exact point in this range at which you become Legendary is random per user.

I had never checked before how activity works on bitcointalk, but couple of days ago my post count and activity were the same 770, but then the activity stopped and post count started increasing, guess I have stepped into the random zone

As far as sig campaigns are concerned I think the payout is somewhat the same for both hero and legendary members. Mine is more than two years old account, but nowadays because of account farming it does not matter if the user who is using the account did really create the create so putting a random activity value to become legendary does to some extent curb the sales of legendary accounts.

Your activity doesn't stop increasing once you reach Legendary, you just used up all of your potential activity by posting.
Now your activity will increase by 14 every two week period providing that you post at least once (until your activity exceeds your post count).

Your activity doesn't stop increasing once you reach Legendary, you just used up all of your potential activity by posting.
Now your activity will increase by 14 every two week period providing that you post at least once (until your activity exceeds your post count).

Wow, I did not knew about this, so from now on 14 activity every two weeks until my activity exceeds my post count. Thanks a lot for sharing this

Hi I am intereseted what If I created like example new account and I didnt writed nothing for 28 days and after 28 days can I get activity 28 or only 14 because 4 weeks finihshed I was never asked somebody that and I really didnt follow my activity changes like that.

If you don't post at all, then you won't get anything. If you create at least 1 post in a designated activity period, then you have an potential activity of 14.

No you can't... You have to wait until you are already a full member for you to be allowed to wear an avatar...

in the beginning there are some things that are a pain, mainly the delay between posts/replies.  keep coming back and using the forum, don't spam, and try to post at least once per day and after two weeks you will get your first promotion.  after that it gets easier.  just relax and try the best you can until it gets easier.  if you have a post delay thing going on, leave that page open and use a new tab to read more in the forum, then go back and finish clicking post

It is true that thing are difficult in the beginning. In a year, one could get 336 activity point max. It focuses more on sincerity towards the forum. Many gets discouraged after two-three months.

They cannot , you should be at least a junior member in order to post images and at least a full member or above to be able to change your avatar in your profile .

They are not but usually (not always) short posts are considered as off-topic or not constructive so making a lot of those could be considered as a spam and result into a temporary ban and permanent ban If It's still being done after having your first ban , not to mention that you may lose your chances for enrolling into a signature campaign If you are planning to do that.

i'm starting to notice in the threads that i frequent the majority of posters are legendary.
might be an idea to make new levels of legendary as in
junior legendary
full legendary
senior legendary
hero legendary

etc.... you get the idea

Something similar to this has been suggested before. Chances are that it won't happen until the new forum software is released, if it happens at all.
