I pointed small hashrate towards the pool.
Code:
 "hashrate1m": "49.5G",
 "hashrate5m": "50.5G",
 "hashrate1hr": "57.6G",
 "hashrate1d": "21G",
 "hashrate7d": "3.61G",
 "lastshare": 1516058559,
 "workers": 1,
 "shares": 524006,
 "bestshare": 886617.0,
 "lns": 524006.1,
 "luck": 0.98,
 "accumulated": 0.0,
 "postponed": 0,
 "herp": 512333.2094459445,
 "derp": 1.19e-6,

How long I will have to wait to see any accumulated payout? Will my payout only increase and accumulate, I will not loose anything, because I have such small hashrate? Can I just leave it here for a year? Smiley

Hmmm.... I'm higher up in the contributor list than I expected to be based on my placement in the payout list.  I guess in a few more blocks we'll start seeing some of the miners who aren't here anymore start to slide down in overall rankings?

I have slowly slide downwards from  the first block.

I pointed a lot of hash early but now I stopped renting hash due to high cash of renting.

I may be close to getting knocked off completely

LOL it was a play on words, the guy who's name is ItsAllGoingToPlan was mining in a different pool than he'd planned to.

Here's why I luv ckpool:

small pool, so payouts are bigger per input, making me save tx fees
FREE!
ck limits 5kb payout, other pools have something huge like 30kb+ payout which is a waste since these extra kbs were going to be transactions with fees (ck, you might consider reducing that to 2.5kb in the future as transaction fees get more and more important with time)
coinbase payment

As long as we stay >5p I will be mining here

How much does it cost to add 3PH for 24hours on Nicehash?
I've been mining there a lot, but always selling power, never buying it. I could never quite feel like I would earn more if I rent SHA256 power to mine on some pool, instead of buying hardware myself.

Hello all,

I'm new here and have S9 miner.

An foolproof explanation of how to set up the Antminer S9 to solo mining on ckpool would be great. I don't have cgminer software.

Actually I'm on Antpo.. but would like to mine solo here.

What does all the words like "N, derp, herp, etc." mean and areonly 4 blocks found so far? http://ckpool.org/blocks/

cgminer is already on your S9, so you don't need it separately.
The short answer is you set it up to mine here the exact same way that you set it up for antpool.

Code:
URL:pool.ckpool.org:3333
Worker: YourBitcoinAddress
Password: anything

It's that simple  Smiley

...but would like to mine solo here.
That would be ck's other pool, though
Code:
URL:solo.ckpool.org:3333

How is the statistic compared to antp..?
Is it more or less likely to find a block with 350THs within a year?

Quite honestly, this is the best pool to be in for miners that want to stay around.  It is a long term pool and you will see more payout here than probably any other pool out there if we continue to grow!!!!!   That means staying with the pool for at least 80 days.   If your a pool hopper and looking for that quick daily payout,  this is probably the wrong pool.  That's if your happy with mining a dollar and the pool operator giving you .50 cents a day to keep you there.   If you stay around,  for every dollar you mine,  you get the full dollar ( or partial bitcoin as it may be)  You just have to stay.  and get all your friends here!!!

So yes,  we are a new pool but have grown greatly lately and will start finding more blocks.

So we all can make some real returns.

hash is hash is hash
In the long run, no pool is more/less likely to get *your* machine to find a block than your machine is statistically likely to do so.
and again, this isn't the solo pool, so there's not too much significance if you find a block, I find it, or GuyC finds it (you get paid for your contribution, just like at antpool).

Thank you Ron & Genie,

I understand. I thought it's possible for solo mining here?
I would like to set all my miners and let it for the next 12 months to try my luck to catch a block.

Cheers
