Looks like Halong is taking some miners off for shipping and adding new ones for burn-in. Let's see how far we trace back up w our pool hash rate. Maybe someone could order 1,000 miners for us so they have to burn them in. Just a thought for a good deed to do if your looking to do something nice today.

Didn't realize Halong had made an announcement of a new batch yet.

Can't say they did. I know they are taking names for the waiting list. Assuming they have orders in the queue. My observation is based on the drop of workers and PH and now the increasing worker number and PH rate.

...What change should I expect to take place to my HERP/DERP after the next block?
If your hashrate and the pool hashrate is the same and you've been here for 5N, then your herp derp remains the same and you get the same payout each block if you're in the top 100. If not in the top 100, your herp remains the same and again your derp keeps rising till above the threshold and in the top 150 again.
Ahh, thanks for the detailed explanation.

Ha! If you look back to my original question, you'll notice I made the following key comment:

...BTW congrats on the exponential growth since I've started failing over here...

The funny thing is, the thought crossed my mind that I might not get my question answered with a sig like that.

Glad to see CK was gracious enough to still answer my question... or he didn't catch it. Grin

Either way, good luck to all.

I'm not blind to the pros and cons of both pools...

I even ran my little Prospero here until I grinded to a halt in the rankings, and even though I now only contribute during failovers, since the blocks are starting to get rapid-fire here, I find myself on the verge of getting a little payout for my effort.

Chicken or beef... Take yer pick! Grin

Hi! Trying this pool out, looks cool.   Watching the pool stats, block height just went up a couple times in the last few minutes.  Did pool find two blocks that fast?!?  Seems like I'm misreading it, I figured a 60T pool would take a long time to find a block.  Maybe got super lucky?
Block height goes up if we find a block or not (it's the height of the current network block). Yes a 60TH pool would take "forever" to find a block (which is why we mine in pools and not a solo pool of 60TH).

That being said, we did find another bock and it's 13+ again!  Cool

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

no it is not quick  it is 23% past okay speed

1   36JMs8rogpizjkkp6eeKMmm3SLbSNo5H9V   50.8PH/s   51.6PH/s   50.5PH/s   8265   289,649,696,453   5705566207315   100%   18,808,974,896,773   9.94030074

once that number passes  Bitcoin Difficulty:   4,940,704,885,521  the block is a slow block

we were at 6,000,000,000,000 +   so we were slow.

the lead miner is at   294,553,225,084    which means  we would be a fast block.

Technically, 47 hrs to hit 123.2% is "quicker" than the 15.5 days it took us to hit a 30% block back in Dec.  Wink

if we maintain an endless 123%  we will be crushed

this time = quick  means nothing

we can all go to slush  and make blocks fast.

So far  every block  we hit since we expanded has been  over 110%

shares under 100% = quick

shares over 100% = slow

...So far  every block  we hit since we expanded has been  over 110%...
Phrasing it as "since we expanded" is kind of a "false narrative" given that we were 108.58% average for the previous 5 blocks and one of those was at 1.5%. By every measure, we've been plagued with horrible luck since day 1 (let's not forget "the block that never was", right out of the gate while we were still in beta mode), so using the phrase "since we expanded" is highly inaccurate.

As for the time thing, I was trying to lighten the mood (yes, jokes are still jokes even if the guy writing them is the only one that finds them funny).

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

the 1.5% is not included in my book as we were well under 20ph when we hit it.

I count all the ones from halong adding 50ph /140ph

So basically the  halong burnin has bad luck so far. (Soon to change as I think they will get hot)

Now internet Humor is a tough sell sometimes, I thought your comment was serious.

I am still here with my halong 3 t1's and will be adding an s9i soon.
