Internet too is notoriously anonymous, Imagine if countries had banned it in its early days for fear that it may increase crime. Ofcourse it ended up increasing crimes and as well helped solve so many societal problems such as slow banking, millions of jobs created, online shopping, online verifications,... Cryptocurrency like every other things has its advantages & disadvantages but I bet its advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.

There's a possibility that Bitcoin will be use by criminals by buying guns for thier organization, for ransom and some illegal activities. So for me cryptocurrencies and Fiat are the same function whether it is used for good or bad. Criminality are already exist before Bitcoin enhances.
Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I think criminality has no connection in bitcoin. Bitcoin is legal but it is not only regulated by the BSP. When we say Criminality, it is about doing a wrong thing against the law.
Since bitcoin doesn't violates any law, bitcoin has no connection in criminality.

Everyone's concern about bitcoin because it's anonymous transactional security, crime syndicates use this to get help from illegal organizations,

all can happen not only bitcoin which can be a container of possible criminal acts of all aspects can also be exploited people who are not responsible for committing crimes all back again to the goals of people or groups by accessing bitcoin

While Bitcoin is said to be anonymous and decentralized digital currency Bitcoin is truly not having a complete anonymity since the whole history of Bitcoin users transaction is visible to its users so how can we say that Bitcoin can be used for criminal activities. Before the introduction of Bitcoin was there any criminal activities not happened anywhere in this world ? So to my opinion fiat money was used for criminal activities behind the stage so there is no reason for blaming Bitcoin used  for criminal.

It turns out that the dollar is being used by more criminals, most of which have more to do with paper money.

People who use money to pay for drugs, gun smuggling can use bitcoin.

All currencies can commit crimes.

criminals and bitcoins are now indispensable as they are made into global issues that cause the price of cryptocurrency to decline. the government should be able to give an emphasis on bitcoin users not to be on the criminal track and to use bitcoin for criminal matters.

We all know, the bitcoin hype started with the darkweb. So yes, many criminals used bitcoin for anonymous transaction to sell and buy ilegal stuff. Thats why bitcoin got so hyped and get such a high price. So trader saw these price trend and start buying bitcoins and trading with it. But you cant say bitcoin encourage criminality. You know what really encourage criminality? Thats people. People are using all kind of stuff for their ilegal activities. So you can not judge the things that are invented for normal people.

I heard that a huge amount of narcotics passes through bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.

The vast majority of the drug trade is still conducted using fiat cash. And the major drug cartels around the world have unholy alliances with the banking giants to launder their money. Recently, there was a scandal involving the Mexican drug cartels and the HSBC bank.

I don't trust that crooks utilize bitcoin. How might they got an enthusiasm for a web administer cash while the majority of fear monger and culprits lean toward money over electronic cash? Be that as it may, at that point I acknowledge there is digital criminal which usually called a programmer. Perhaps their high IQ drives them to utilize digital forms of money because of its secrecy and advancement. Bitcoin open ups the entryway for those offenders to lead administrations through bitcoin. I think this is leeway at any rate some real people bolster bitcoin even they utilized as a part of illicit exercises. It is exceptionally troublesome if online stores and wholesalers just utilize their coins for exchanges.

There will always rise and bad side, because the people who makes the bad side rise, they benefits from it which give the novice who does not know about the good done will make them only see the bad part of the thing made. This is not only in bitcoin, and in technology.

Bitcoin is arguably a novelty that is why regulation enforcement towards crime involving bitcoin has not acquired much focus. So, the criminals can even now check out it. But I'm certain, quicker or later, as the number of crimes involving bitcoin increases, as system lawmakers will take motion by applying new rules to ensnare the criminals.

Although in a certain way, crime has always existed in all possible ways, and now bitcoin can be used for malicious purposes because of its anonymity, there are few people compared to big criminals who handle everything necessary to obtain good profits from the BTC. Everything is depends, not in all cases would accept this currency for a crime.

Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in  some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.

This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.

Bitcoin can really increase the criminal rate of a country because you can use cryptocurrency for illegal activities but they are just the same as fiat, the different is just bitcoin is digital and that is the reason why they should not ban bitcoins because it helps poor people to get well in life.

i doubt it.
criminal activities were happening even before bitcoin. for example the ransomware that everyone is talking about these days have been around a very long time before bitcoin was created!

and besides since bitcoin doesn't offer real anonymity it can not really help the criminals as much as things like hard cash helps them.

yes I agree with you. criminal activities were happening even before bitcoin. it can be happen in every where and eveytime.

bitcoin and fiat are the same because both currency can be used in illegal activites however bitcoin is the most prefered by criminals because bitcoin is anonymous and transparent. they cant posibly be  caught if they use bitcoin not unlike to fiats that they can easily be traced whenever they used thier credentials and other details such as finger print and face i.d , that is also the reason on why bitcoin recieved a lot of negative feedbacks from the public.
