The statement made about the partnership with a marketing agency was a little premature. You can find more information about it in this article.

But in my opinion, it doesn't really matter, because once there's a new version out, we can find many others if needed.

Yes after the price bounced off from 2900 to 4800 thought the trend line was broken and price will go up.The updates should go. Decided to purchase. And the price is now 3200 FAK took the bait. Forgot to put stop losses because I thought you won't fail.
I know that the project is worthwhile, and if it will successfully then the price will fly to the moon

But to be honest I want to project is shot and there are fears that everything will be successful. After all, movies about the end of the world now is like a super computer controlling it. it can be dangerous...

I like Elastic but there is a lot of competition in this space. Golem clearly has the lead right now and the first mover advantage. SONM just partnered with Sia to combine their decentralized computing services with Sia's decentralized storage. iExec RLC is another competitor that I need to look into more. But ultimately Elastic needs to do something to make it stand out from the rest of the bunch and so far it has not.

When sending NXT to a new account using the new account's address the resulting account is protected only by 64 bit account id which is somewhat weak and not by the 256 public key which provides ultimate protection.

Your passphrase is enough. You don't need to backup any files.

I agree with you. People are comparing elastic with golem. Please look at the total market capitalization. 22.3m $ elastic and 180m $ golem. Which means nearly 1/9. this project has big potential for short-term and for long-term. 1b $ market cap. is a long way but not impossible.

Forging is nothing more than verifying Blocks for their validity also know as POS (Proof of Stake). In the process you get rewarded with transaction fees on your validated Block.
You need to have minimum 1000XEL on your balance to Forge, you can start Forging after your balance is confirmed for 1440+ blocks. To start Forging you need to have local node running 24/7 and activate it with click of the button.
