Has anyone noted the rise in difficulty between 15/Jul and 15/Aug? It's almost 3x!

https://www.coinwarz.com/difficulty-charts/dash-difficulty-chart

Assuming another doubling by 15/Sep and again by 15/Nov etc?  Oct/Nov batch ROI will be pushed back significantly I assume.

Probably better to wait for next gen X11 miner...

So far it's probably JUST the IBeLink DM11G units pushing the hashrate - but by the end of October when most of the currently sold but not yet shipped Bitmain D3 units are shipped installed and running, we're looking at a LOT more than a "doubling".

Then the A5 (and probably more D3 and some DM22G) units start hitting.... I'd BET on network hashrate exceeding 200 TH by the end of the year, and would not be shocked by 300-400 TH.

I'm not sure what that works out to in difficulty as a number, but I'm sure it will be 5-10 TIMES what it is now by the end of October and likely double again by the end of the year.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Seems very plausible. Assume also existing miners will drop off as feasibility rapidly decreases and current asics takeover.

hello

I have ordered my Asic Antminer D3 on 3 Aug batch , i have transferred full money "Wire transfers bank" and sent payment proof, The Staus of payment ist
Paying
Unshipped
Expired

this is my Payment Detail, what does it mean? Huh Huh

Total Amount :    5314.14 USD
BANK :    5256.64 USD
BTC/USD rate :    2817.99
LTC/USD rate :    43.72
USD/CNY rate :    6.72
Time of Payment :    2017-08-15 15:03:11

https://s11.postimg.org/s2k2ndcn7/Fire_Shot_Screen_Capture_022_-_-_shop_bitmain.jpg

It means your payment has fell short by $ 57.5 due to bank fees or something and you will have to pay the balance using BTC/LTC and you will receive a email with payment wallet address. Instead of waiting for email its better if you open a ticket and offer to pay balance using BTC/LTC.

Thank you bro Smiley Smiley

You will be very Naive in thinking that Bitmain is not mining with D3 right now (probably in the name on testing)and same with all other companies as no one in their Right mind sell a Money printing machine without using it. I hope that explains the sudden increase in difficulty.
I am sure it wont increase as much.

This is right. Bitmain and the other companies are going to get their coins first. It's called a "routine test".  Grin

Just dont buy this batch ... Anyway if u buy D3 to delivery after november, that a bad move.
December release will crash down all this ASIC stuff, per x5 / x10 more performance ...
So if u buy D3 now, u gona loose money, exept if u want to hold long term and DASH go up like a lot, if u want to do this, just buy DASH ...

The problem is Bitmain pumps them out like toasters and you know there is D3+ coming soon ( speculating: In December for january delivery most likely ) same thing they did for L3 before releasing L3+

I'm out. Not buying. May watch the cluster though.

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Mind if I ask why you aren't buying?  Even if they only make $500-$600 a month, which is 10% of current profits with that speed, you would still roi in 3 months or so...

I'm sure you're right, but the entire global Dash hashrate is only equal to ~1300 D3s, and you know that at LEAST half of that is from other devices - so even if they are "testing", they can't have more than 600 devices operational at this point (probably far fewer).
